This is where it all begins. Ikki gets into a fight with a group of Storm Riders who use ATs. After he loses, Ikki sees the mysterious Simca. After returning home, he curiously takes a pair of Mikan's AT's. After accidentally challenging another Storm Rider group, Ikki is thrust into an Air Trek match. || After suffering a humiliating loss in a fight, Ikki’s experimentation with a pair of Air Trecks inadvertently leads to him to challenge a gang of Storm Riders. Ikki is in love? Maybe, or maybe it's just uncontrollable hormones. Ringo is worried (madly jealous) and Mikan is leery, but Simca, the object of Ikki's attentions, needs his help. Trying to please the girl he likes, Ikki ends up challenged by the leader of the Rez-Boa Dogs and the outcome of this race will lead to a lot of things in the near future. || Simca gives Ikki a token of her gratitude after he helps her out of a tough spot, but the gift leads to more trouble: the leader of the Rez-Boa Dogs wants it and challenges Ikki to a race to take it! Ikki's friends, Onigiri and Kazu, were in the school in search of the Night Kings for a Parts War but they end up in a bit of trouble trying to challenge on their turf. It is night and Ikki is out tearing it up around town, while thinking about the 8 Roads to the King, when he runs into someone from an A-Class team "Agito". The Skull Saders are out for the revenge following their previous defeat so they challenge the Sleeping Forest team but Ikki takes up the challenge instead in the F-Class "Dash". || The Skull Saders are hungry for revenge after being defeated. After getting his reward from Buccha, Ikki goes out to practice with Ringo when out of the blue she suggest to him that he should join Simca's team however Ikki set on forming his own group. As Ikki and Kazu attempt to train and build up their team, they discover that Onigiri has a girlfriend. Ikki and his team head out and when they arrive discover that Agito is taking on his competition alone! After Ikki's confrontation with Akito's brother Kaito, Akito will now be living with and attending the same school as Ikki. With this sorted Ikki is also beginning to sort out his newly formed team which can become official with its 5th member however the former 27th generation "East Side Gunz" have a problem with this. Kazu is able to quell this problem with much trouble, so now "Team Kogarasumaru" is formed. || With Akito taking the fifth spot on the team roster, Ikki’s crew sets out to register and make it official. The newly formed Kogarasumaru has been challenge to their first AT battle, by the Sabel Tigers, with their emblems, parts and pride on the line. With Agito not wanting to take part in this F-Class Parts War the team are already in trouble of losing when they get help from a not so mysterious rider! Now they have a chance. || The Sabel Tigers are having their way with Ikki’s team, and everything is on the line. The team has now achieved their first victory and Ikki is feeling pretty confident about it and is now ready to aim for the top of Trophaeum tower. Several days later Rika returns home to see the excited Ikki, over his team�s debut victory, nevertheless she seems strongly against him continuing down the path he's on. || Ikki’s hooked on Air Treck action, but Rika is uncomfortable with his goal of ruling the Storm Rider world. It is morning and Ikki is already pissed of due to Rika forbidding him from doing anything to do with AT, but without giving a reason why. Rika meets up with an old friend and former Sleeping Forest leader, who may be able to convince Ikki from continuing along his road. It is night and Agito is carving his own Road into other Storm Riders to boost his team's territory, without Ikki knowing however this night he is approached by the same "mysterious skater". Agito's plan may have come into affect when team Kogarasumaru are suddenly challenged by and unusually large and strong D-Rank team "Behemoth". || Agito’s been busy claiming more turf for the team, and it leads to a tense confrontation between Ikki and the leader of a menacing new force - Behemoth. Following Kazu's battle each of the Kogarasumaru are having their own respective battles, against the Behemoths, in separate cubes. Now it's only Ikki's and Agito's battles left and while Ikki is playing about in his cube with Mitsuru, Agito is purely focused on getting back his Regalia from Akira. || The fight against Behemoth continues, and only Ikki and Agito remain in the game. The next day it is time for the school trip to Kyoto and Akito doesn't seem to have the money to go. To prove himself, Ikki challenges trident to a battle and he would have to go up against Yosh(i)tsune, the "Devil 30-30".
