After Symboli Rudolf offers his trainee a place in the Twinkle Series, Kitahara approaches a reluctant Oguri Cap with a wager—if she wins the Gold Junior, she'll transfer to the nationals; otherwise, they'll aim for the Tokai Derby. Eager to show Symboli Rudolf she has what it takes to take on these races, she sets her sights on the G3 Pegasus Stakes. Symboli Rudolf witnesses Oguri Cap's might firsthand—the no-name racer from the boonies wipes the floor with even the strong national racers.
