In Hokkaido, it is rumored that there is a stash of hidden gold. This gold was supposedly stolen by a man who killed the original Ainu owners; and before being captured and imprisoned by the police, he hid it in a secret location. In order to relay the gold's location to his comrades on the outside, he tattooed the map on the bodies of his cellmates and promised them a share of the gold—provided they managed to escape and find it. In Golden Kamuy 2nd Season, First Lieutenant Tokushirou Tsurumi plans to give the 7th Division an advantage in the war for the tattoos by getting a taxidermist to create skins that only he can distinguish as fake. Meanwhile, Saichi "The Immortal" Sugimoto, Asirpa, and their companions continue their hunt for the skins by following a strange rumor: a thief who broke into a home in Yubari found taxidermied human corpses, among which was a torso with strange tattoos. 1. Edogai-kun
Lt. Tsurumi visits Edogai, a taxidermist, in the town of Yuubari. He has a new plan to bring chaos to the war for the tattoo code: he's going to create fake skins that only he can detect.
2. Fakes
Edogai succeeds in creating 6 sets of fake skins when his workshop comes under assault. He flees with Sergeant Tsukishima into the local mines, pursued by Ogata and Sugimoto.
3. Let's Talk About the Past
Hijikata, who is now temporarily allied with Sugimoto, stays behind in Yuubari to try and find clues to the fake skins. Edogai's workshop is surrounded by members of the 7th division, and they're forced to fight their way out.
4. The Great Plan to Infiltrate the Asahikawa 7th Division!!
The team is on a mission to rescue Shiraishi, who's been kidnapped by the 7th. But he's in the middle of a massive garrison, surrounded by hundreds of troops. How can they possibly sneak in...?
5. Inside the Belly
Suzukawa heads into the 7th's garrison to rescue Shiraishi. When the mission goes wrong it's up to Sugimoto to get them out.
6. Ani Nekko
Tanigaki remembers his past as a matagi, and the story of how he came to join the 7th Divison and work for Lt. Tsurumi.
7. Kamuy Hopunire
The group meets up with Tanigaki and stop at an Ainu Kotan. Private Koito returns to Lt. Tsurumi and reports on their whereabouts.
8. Blue Eyes
The group is attacked by a huge horde of locusts and split. Asirpa and Inkarmat flee to the water, where Inkarmat tells Asirpa a terrible secret.
9. The Sound of an Ambush
After visiting a hot springs, the group is ambushed by a gang of blind thieves. In the darkness, the thieves, who navigate by sound, have a tremendous advantage, and the group is in deadly peril.
10. On the Night of the New Moon
At last the group makes it to Abashiri. After everything that's happened so far, it's time for them to go inside and meet No-Face..
11. Overwhelmed
Chaos has broken loose at Abashiri. The 7th Division is shelling the prison. The prisoners are loose. Sugimoto is trapped inside. Can they find No-Face in the chaos?
12. Call Out
At last, No-Face has been found. But will he survive long enough to tell them where the gold is? And what about the traitor who's lurking in the background, waiting for the right moment to strike?
