Following the conclusion of the large-scale coalition campaign, the entirety of China is in a state of economic recovery. The victor of the battle, the state of Qin, is no different. There, the political parties led by Ying Zheng and Buwei Lü continue their inner conflict. Having played the role of king in the coalition battle, Zheng has the trust of the people—but Lü is far from out of the fight. In 18 months, he plans to interrupt Zheng's coming-of-age ceremony. Meanwhile, a Zhao army numbering 20,000 troops has set out toward Qin. In the royal court, due to the lack of generals capable of responding to the incoming threat, Lü slyly suggests that Zheng take command. However, Cheng Jiao, Zheng's half-brother, volunteers instead. As they grew to trust each other during the coalition battle, Zheng now accepts Jiao as his replacement. However, the Zhao forces retreat a mere half-day after clashing with Jiao's army. With trouble quickly brewing in the shadows, the internal struggle of Qin is only complicated further. There are only two men Zheng feels he can rely on: Bi, a general who commands 30,000 men; and Xin, the leader of the Fei Xin force.

The seven nations of the Middle Kingdom come to grips with the fallout of the massive coalition army war as internal disputes move to the forefront.
2. Disturbing Shadows
Qin chancellor Lü Buwei schemes to gain more influence in the Royal Court. Zhao makes a surprising move, prompting Cheng Jiao to make one of his own.
3. The Subjugation Army Sets Out
Cheng Jiao manages to push back Zhao's army, but a little too easily for his taste. He discovers that Tonryuu, the city of his wife Liu Yi, is now administered by Pu He.
4. The Siege of Tonryu City
Pu Ge reveals his scheme, but doesn't take the bigger, better Fei Xin Force into account. Cheng Jiao takes a gamble as he faces the fight of his life.
5. Sword and Shield
A wounded Cheng Jiao confronts Pu Ge, then has a heart-to-heart with Liu Yi and shares words of wisdom with Xin as the fighting in Tunliu subsides.
6. A New Strategic Base
Xin and Wang Ben are summoned to assist General Teng in a complex battle with Zhao, but Zhao's star general has some monumental aces up his sleeve.
7. The Call
Kai Meng, Fire Dragon of Wei, challenges Xin to a duel as the battle rages around them. Qiang Lei must act quickly when something goes terribly wrong.
8. Ten no Sonzai
Diao meets with Kai Meng in the Wei camp while Xin and friends scramble for a way to get her out. The Yu Feng Force faces another brutal Fire Dragon.
9. Zi Bai's Name
As Wang Ben tangles with master spearsman Zi Bai, Ling Huang gives Wu Fengming and his officers insight into his fellow Fire Dragon's past and psyche.
10. The Eyes of the Middle Kingdom
The three Qin units prepare for the climactic third day of their coordinated assault on Wei's main camp in Zhuyong, with each facing a formidable foe.
11. Training Days
The Fei Xin Unit has only half a day left to reach Wu Feng Ming's headquarters. The strategists of both sides test their skills.
12. Age of Giants
Xin finds himself trapped as the simultaneous triple-strike comes together; Wei's unsuspecting main camp panics with the three Qin armies closing in.
13. Movement in Xianyang
Zhao's military minds ponder the aftermath of the Battle at Zhuyong. A powerful figure visits the Royal Court to stake a claim on the new Qin outpost.

The plans of the Queen-Dowager and her lover Lao Ai soon come to light: the foundation of a new state, within Qin itself. The affront is such that it calls for a response equal to it.

Wang Ben and Xin are rewarded for their actions in Zhuyong as Ai grows ever stronger. Lao Ai reflects on the path his life has taken to this point.
16. The Crowning Cerimony
Ai's foreign-backed chancellor puts the Queen Dowager in an impossible position as Zheng prepares for the crowning ceremony in Qin's ancient capital.
17. Three Sides, Unyielding
A supersized Ai army approaches an underdefended Xianyang. The Queen Dowager and Lü Buwei both have their own epiphanies during the crowning ceremony.
18. River-Crossing Battle
The Fei Xin Force meets up with allies before a pitched battle across a key river. Troops descend on Xianyang as Xiang recalls Zheng's parting words.
19. A Parting of Ways
Xin explains how Diao learned of the rebellion. Lord Changping makes a momentous decision. The seige of Xianyang intensifies as Xin's troops arrive.
20. A Dream Nation
Xin pushes onward to Xianyang's Inner Palace as Xiang and Yang are taken to safety. Lü Buwei explains his views to Zheng and how he would rule Qin.
21. Our Only Shot at Victory
Zheng refutes his chancellor's notion of ideal government and articulates his reasons for a united Middle Kingdom. Xin gets turned around in Xianyang.
22. Running For Your Lives
The court ladies make a run for it when their safety is compromised. Shang Lu's ailing army is just barely keeping the enemy out of the royal capital.
23. Reversal Rush
Qin army high commander Lord Changping shows what he's made of on the battlefield with an all-or-nothing maneuver meant to immobilize Duke Rongdi.
24. The Rebellion's Conclusion
Lao Ai, the man who orchestrated the uprising, must finally reap what he's sown. The Queen Dowager makes a last-ditch plea at her lover's hearing.
25. A Time for Venturing Forth
The rebels and masterminds behind Ai's uprising meet their fates--or rather, most of them do. Zheng discusses his vision for Qin's future with Xin.
26. The Six Great Generals' Whereabouts
Qin goes right back to the battlefield. Wa Lin is tapped to help the troubled nation of Chu. The young commanders discuss the next Six Great Generals.
