Kajika Louisa Kugami Burnsworth is the only daughter of Harry Burnsworth, an influential and respected industrialist who has the power to move the world. There was a threat on Kajika’s life when she was just two years old, and her mother died protecting her. After this tragic incident, Harry sent his only child to an isolated island, Giviolle, where she was raised by the island’s native, Maria. Kajika’s companions during her time there include a white leopard named Mustafa and a boy named Li Ren Fang, who visited her two or three times a year. Kajika, now fourteen, returns to her father's side, only to be told to begin a game to find her future husband. Harry makes sure that Kajika willingly participates in this game by telling her that she needs to face the harshness of her fate along with the man she chooses to be her husband. She needs to decide among the three candidates that Harry has personally chosen, but it won’t be easy. Kajika must figure out who they are and where they are without any information to go on except that they all possess an irresistible brilliance and charm. All the while, the men aren't even aware that they are the chosen ones. Kajika must also choose wisely, as her partner has to willingly accept her to be his bride. Hansakeru Seishounen revolves around endearing love, intense passion, noble friendship, undying loyalty, family relations, and political intrigue. The heaviness of Kajika’s fate is real, the threat on Kajika’s life is inevitable, and the husband game is more than just a mere game. 1. Innocent Girl
After living in the isolated islands of the Caribbean for most of her life, Kajika Kugami transfers to a Japanese middle school. Her best friend is Yui Yamate and she lives a glorified school life. One day at school, Yui bumps into a gang girl and the girls argue. When Yui and Kajika are on their way home, the gang surrounds them. Kajika`s bodyguard, Toranosuke Haga, came to the rescue them. Kajika wants to protect Yui, so she decides to go with the gangsters...and gets in their car. The situation starts to get dangerous when Kajika`s trusted friend Lee-Leng Huang shows up. 2. Circling Love
Kajika consents to her father`s game, the "Husband Search". Kajika meets a man by the name of Eugene De Volkan. She feels that he has the spirit of a white leopard in his soul, and in order to confirm this, she visits his apartment. Lee-Leng, who has undertaken the duty of overseeing this whole "Husband Search" Game, has a bad feeling about Eugene so he begins to investigate. 3. A Sleepless Night
Judging that further involvement with Eugene is dangerous, Lee-Leng locks Kajika up in her room. Eugene, however, isn’t inclined to accept Lee-Leng’s terms. 4. The Day When the Long Night Ends
Kajika arrives at the Volkan estate on the day that Eugene’s family is celebrating his twentieth birthday. Aggravated by Kajika’s unannounced arrival, Eugene shouts at her to leave immediately. 6. Pure Heart
Sudden danger threatens the lives of Kajika and Rumaty, the prince of Raginei. Fleeing their pursuer, they run into Yung Itsubu, the leader of a group operating in the area. At the residence, Eddie talks about the inflation, the embezzlement of the national treasury, and the corruption that runs through Raginei to Kajika. Quinza appears before Noei, who is held captive in an underground prison. Kajika, Lee-Leng, and Sezun have entered the palace in order to rescue Eugene and Noei. Disguised as tailors, they reunite with Eugene. Lee-Leng was able to rescue Noei with the help of the priest, though on the way to meeting up with Kajika, they come face to face with the guards. Once Kajika and the others escaped the palace and safely made it back to the hideout, they learn that Rumaty has returned to the country. Lee-Leng visits the hospital after hearing Carl’s message, though Carl’s sister Isabel tries to get in the way. Suddenly an assassin appears before them. Sensing danger Lee-Leng is able to get away and the assassin poisons himself. Isabel fears for her life because she thinks she is the one that was targeted and tells Lee-Leng that she has revealed the secret about Kajika to Quinza. After a failed attempt at assassination, Quinza is hurt badly. When Kajika and Lee-Leng went to see, he had already vanished. On the other hand, Rumaty appears in front of civilians and soldiers packed at the airport. In front of 100,000 people, Rumaty announces that he will be the “Last King” in order to lead Raginei. Zao, having put all his hopes and dreams of the Huang’s into Lee-Leng’s hand, turns to his last resort. After some time had passed, Kajika finds out that Lee-Leng had gone back home. 38. Sharp Words
Carl meets the very depressed Li-Ren for an explanation of the sudden news that he'll be married to his cousin and at the same time tries to convince him to fight his way through this hurdle. Li-Ren was somehow motivated by Carl's words and simultaneously learns of King Mahaty's grieve condition. Kajika, Fred and Harry heads to Ranginei to visit Mahaty. Kajika who meets her biological grandfather for the first time was motivated to go all the way and fight for her love after listening to Mahaty's words. Rumaty on the other hand is surprised to find out that Kajika is his blood related cousin. After the meet, Kajika tells Harry that she wants to cut ties with him in order to be able to leave out the Burnsworth name and find Li-Ren again. Harry agrees instantaneously although he seemed rather shocked at first. Harry also states that he will only be giving Kajika the Gibori Island, which made Kajika rather happy. Toranosuke was told by Harry that his contract is up but he was persistent on continuing to follow and help Kajika at his own free will. Outside of the Ranginei Palace, when Kajika was trying to borrow money from Toranosuke for the taxi and air fare for her journey to Singapore, Eugene appears to be waiting for Kajika and asks Kajika what she really wants at this instant. Kajika tells him that she wants Li-Ren and Eugene states that since that is what she wants, that is what he'll be giving her (Li-Ren).
39. The Promised Sky
Li-Ren expresses his gratitude and appreciation towards Zao for helping and caring for him previously although at the same time mentioned that Zao was somehow led astray in the midst of things. Li-Ren tells Zao that he won't be able to do anything now that Li-Ren has allowed Fi to be the Head of Huang. Li-Ren points a gun to Zao stating that both of them should wait whilst the Elders decide what to do with Li-Ren but as Zao was to command his personally hired bodyguards to his aid, Liutenant Noei, sent by Rumaty to help Kajika, appears together with his comrades to save Li-Ren from being held captive in his mansion in Singapore. A great deal of damage was done to the Huang family's property but Noei told Zao to send the invoices to Rosenthal Corp as Carl Rosenthal had offered to pay for the losses. Engene's personal helicopter then flew just outside Li-Ren 's balcony and Kajika opened the copter's door. She told Li-Ren to decide whether to stay on or follow her and he decides to follow Kajika. Kajika then told him that she'll not let go of Li-Ren. Toranosuke who was then manuovering the helicopter asks Kajika where she is headed too next as there is a plane already waiting for her in the airport. She says that she wishes to go back to the Giboro Islands and Eugene was interested to follow her. Li-Ren was slightly jealous and questioned Eugene's decision. Eugene naughtily told Li-Ren that he could get off his personal copter if he wasn't happy about it. The unhappy yet childish side of Li-Ren surfaced when he silently said to himself that he had a helicopter too. Kajika on the other hand was elated that both Li-Ren and Eugene(Mustafa) will be joining her in the Giboro Islands but she first told Toranosuke to head off to Ranginei as she wants her dying grandfather, Kind Mahaty to meet her husband Li-Ren.
