Digimon Tamers takes place in a world where the popular Digimon franchise is all the rage, consisting of a cartoon, video games, and the trading card game. Takato Matsuda is a huge Digimon fan that's particularly obsessed with the card game, and constantly daydreams about the universe therein. One day, he finds a mysterious blue card, which he slides through a scanner toy to use in the popular battle game. His toy suddenly glows and transforms into a Digivice, and Takato's fan-made design, Guilmon, materialises in front of him. Thrilled by the prospect of having a real-life Digimon, Takato embraces his new partner, and his adventures as a Digimon Tamer begin. Takato quickly discovers that being a Digimon Tamer is not all fun and games—in reality, it's much more dangerous than the card games he's accustomed to. Wild Digimon have begun to appear all across Japan, causing rampages that result in chaos and mayhem. Armed with his Digivice, which can scan trading cards to strengthen Guilmon, Takato and his new partner set out to combat the rogue Digimon. They are tasked with protecting the world from Digimon attacks, whilst a mysterious organization determined to eliminate all Digimon and their Tamers lurks in the shadows...

Takato is a boy that loves Digimon, but can he handle becoming a digimon tamer when a mysterious digimon appears?

Takato finds out he isn't the only digimon tamer, but when Renamon attacks Guilmon trouble begins. Can Takato learn what it truly means to be a tamer?
3. To Fight or Not to Fight
Henry decides to try and get the trainers to realize their is more to their digimon than just fighting, but what will he do when Terriermon digivolves?
4. It Came from the Other Side
Can Henry overcome his fear of fighting in time to defeat Gorillamon, or is the real world in trouble?
5. Dream a Little Dream
The mysterious digimon Calumon is finally found by the tamers, but can they keep Calumon out of mischief long enough to find her a tamer?
6. O Partner, Where Art Thou?
Rika and Renamon get into a fight because Renamon won't digivolve causing them to seperate, but what will happen when Rika gets attacked by a new Digimon?
7. Now You See It, Now You Don't
A mysterious fog abducts Guilmon and will delete him if the Tamers don't save him in time.
8. A Question of Trust
Impmon appears and tricks Guilmon into doing pranks to people at night, Takato upon hearing this looses his trust for his partner. Meanwhile a DeviDramon Bio-Emerges in the city.
9. Not as Seen on TV
Growlmon just defeated Devidramon, but he cannot return to being Guilmon. Takato, Henry and Terriermon try everything to get him to De-Digivolve.
10. The Icemon Cometh
Renamon and Rika get into an argument because Renamon still can't Digivovle. IceDevimon captures Rika in hopes of making her be his partner.
11. Much Ado About Musyamon
Henry struggles with Terriermon's desire to fight, as he doesn't want him to Digivolve again. Meanwhile a Digimon that Yamaki destroyed with the Yuggoth, Musyamon, reconfigures it self and comes to the real world.
12. Divided They Stand
Rika and Renamon are still not back together. A Harpymon Bio-Emerges in the real world.
13. Juggernaut
Rika and Takato begin to understand more about digimon. Yamaki creates a program that will eliminate all Digimon from the Real World and tells Takato about the danger that Digimon really are.
14. Grow Mon Grow
Yamaki's Juggernaut program malfunctions, and a seemingly unstoppable Ultimate Level Digimon called Mihiramon biomerges. Takato and Guilmon try to stop Mihiramon before he harms the city.
15. Snakes, Trains, and Digimon
A Deva called Sandiramon is wreaking havoc in the subway. Will Sandiramon pose as a deadly threat to the Tamers, or can they defeat this new Deva?
16. Back to Nature, Back to Battle
Henry and Takato go on a camping trip with their classes and they decide to bring along Guilmon, Terriermon, and Calumon. A new Deva called Sindurumon appears on the camp.
17. Duel with the Deva
After Henry receives a Digimon card that somehow turns into a Blue Card, he gets Takato and Rika to investigate with him about this mysterious card. Two of the Devas attack.
18. Digital Beauty
Vajramon offers Renamon to join the Devas. When she declines, can the Tamers destroy Vajramon for the second time?
19. Impmon's Last Stand
Impmon says he hates humans to cover up his own insecurities. The Tamers are battling the next Deva Indramon. Impmon decides to battle this Deva all by himself to become strong.
20. Out of the Blue
Yamaki hires Henry's dad Janyu to work for him to help get rid of Digimon. Yamaki gathers the rest of the "Wild Bunch", the people that helped Janyu create the Digimon. Meanwhile, Indramon comes back and the Tamers are in trouble again.
21. Jeri's Quest
Kumbhiramon, a Deva appears and attacks Jeri. A Leomon appears to save her, but to his dismay, Jeri believes that she is his Tamer.
22. The Boar Wars
Vikaralamon, the Pig Deva, Bio-Emerges and begins to rampage on Shinjuku. Can Takato, Henry, and Rika find a way to gain Blue Cards to Digivolve their Digimon to Ultimate Level?
23. A World Apart
Now that each of the Tamers' Digimon are at Ultimate Level, they can fight Vikaralamon. Yamaki activates the Juggernaut to destroy all the digimon.
24. The Journey Begins
After Calumon is stolen, the Tamers decide to go to the Digital World to save him, this begins their new journey.
25. Brave New Digital World
The Tamers and their Digimon make it to the Digital World. As they venture on in their first day trying to find Calumon, they are attacked by a Meramon and later caught in a Jagamon stampede.
26. Kazu and Kenta's Excellent Adventure
After getting separated from the rest of the group, Kazu, Kenta, Rika and Renamon appear in a windy valley. Jijimon and Babamon appear to help them. Kazu and Kenta believe that they are Jijimon and Babamon's Tamers.
27. Motorcycle Madness
After being separated from the rest, Takato, Guilmon, Henry, Terriermon, Jeri, and Leomon appear at a village of Chuchidarumon that is attacked by a berserk motorcycle. Meanwhile, Impmon encounters the Dog Deva Chatsuramon whose boss offers Impmon the power to Digivolve.
28. Blame it on Ryo
In a clock-like cloud plane, Rika encounters an old opponent from the Digimon Card Tournament, the legendary Ryo Akiyama.
29. Goliath
Ryo, Kazu and Kenta finally catch up with Takato and the rest of the Tamers. Makuramon and Majiramon attack.
30. The Imperfect Storm
Remnants of the Hypnos organization try to start up the Juggernaut system again which causes a storm in the Digital World. Beelzemon and Chatsuramon try to recapture Calumon from the Tamers.
31. Kazu's Upgrade
After a Digital Storm that separated the Tamers, Rika and those with her end up in a swamp-like area where Orochimon has enslaved the local village of Gekomon and an Andromon is the only resistant one. What happens when Orochimon steals Jeri?
32. Shibumi Speaks
Lost underwater, Takato, Henry and Terriermon look for a way out. Shibumi one of the "Wild Bunch" appears, and they learn more than what they wanted to.
33. Rabbit Transit
Suzie ends up in the Digital World and befriends the Rabbit Deva Antylamon as Makuramon targets Suzie.
34. Lionheart
Lopmon leads Takato, Henry, Terriermon, and Suzie to the gates of Zhuqiaomon's castle. Beelzemon appears infront of them and attacks them.
35. Give a Little Bit
Because of Takato's anger, Guilmon Digivolves to Megidramon, an evil Virus type Mega. Soon, the whole Digital World is going mad. Megidramon begins to attack everyone.
36. The Battle Within
Now that Takato and Guilmon are now Gallantmon, a vaccine type mega Digimon, they can battle Beelzemon. An intense battle begins.
37. No Mon Is An Island
The Tamers begin their battle against the Deva's superior Zhuqiaomon. Zhuqiaomon being a Mega easily outpowers the Tamers.
38. Azulongmon Explains It All
The battle against Zhuqiaomon continues. During the fight, Guilmon and Takato Bio-Merge again into Gallantmon and fight Zhuqiamon until another Sovereign called Azulongmon stops both of them.
39. Song of Sakuyamon
Azulongmon and Zhuquiomon lead the Tamers to the location of the D-Reaper, inside a deep pit, nearby they find Ryo. Rika attempts to go down the pit by herself, but the D-Reaper appears.
40. Janyu's Ark
Henry's dad and the rest of his helpers send an "Arc" for the Tamers to go back to the real world. Beelzemon, being sad for all the pain he caused, changes back to Impmon. Renamon and Rika found him and asked him to join them on their way home.
41. Homeward Bound
As the Ark is beginning to take off, Rika and Ryo rush to get to the Ark before it takes off toward the Real World. Jeri begins to act weird upon returning.
42. Reunion
The Tamers make it back to the Real World. Soon after they find out that the D-Reaper is there too.
43. Beezlemon's Big Day
The D-Reaper is attacking in the Digital World. The Tamers are planning what to do about the D-Reaper. Impmon looks for Ai and Mako, his Tamers.
44. The Messenger
The D-Reaper continues his attack against the Real World, and the Tamers can't biomerge. A girl named Alice appears and says she can solve their problem.
45. The D-Reaper's Disguise
Now that they can Bio-Merge with their Digimon, the Tamers fight with the latest of the D-Reaper's agents. During the battle Takato and Guilmon get inside the D-Reaper, where they find Jeri.
46. When Is A Mon Justimon
A new digimon, Justimon appears, and he is the result of the Bio-Merge between Cyberdramon and Ryo. Together with Sakuyamon and MegaGargomon they must save Takato and Guilmon.
47. His Kingdom For A Horse
Jeri's dad becomes determined to get his daughter back. The Tamers must protect him from two of the D-Reaper's agents.
48. Shadow of the Beast King
Beelzemon begins to redeem himself to Jeri by trying to break her free of the D-Reaper.
49. D-Reaper's Feast
Beezlemon fails to save Jeri, and the D-Reaper starts changes form. The Tamers fall back and form a new attack plan.
50. Jeri Fights Back
Jeri is struggling to escape the D-Reaper core. The Tamers prepare to go against the D-Reaper for the last battle.
51. Such Sweet Sorrow
Gallantmon is now Gallantmon Crimson Mode. MegaGargomon activates the program Henry's dad implanted him to stop the D-Reaper.
