Di Gi Charat is a series of shorts created as advertisements for "Digital Gamers", a store in Akihabara. The series follows Dejiko, princess of Di Gi Charat planet, and her companions, Puchiko and Gema, as well as Dejiko's rival, Rabi~en~Rose through daily ordeals they encounter while working at Gamers. Princess Di Gi Charat came from the planet Di Gi Charat given only a cat cap and an outfit to disguise herself. Unfortunately she came with no money, only her guardian Gema and friend Petite Charat. Luckily the three stumbled upon a manager of the store Gamers, who offered them a home if they worked at the store. However Di Gi Charat is a selfish young girl who wishes of becoming a star. Episodes
1. Episode 1
Dejiko, Puchiko, and Gema arrive on Earth in a spaceship and look for a place to stay. The ship is too conspicuous so they find a store called ""Gamers"". The guy says that they can take the room for free, but Gema disagrees. So the guy says if they work there they will pay for it like that.
2. Episode 2
Rabi~en~Rose comes along and gets a job at Gamers too, and she is Dejiko's new rival because of her cuteness. Rabi~en~Rose wants to be the ""idol"".
3. Episode 3
A customer named Minagawa Takou comes to Gamers to buy Tetsu-Ashi (Johnny) trading cards. After giving unreasonable prices, they give them to him for free.
4. Episode 4
Dejiko, Puchiko, and Gema go on a picnic and meet the bear in the box.
5. Episode 5
Kimura Takurou (aka Mr. Long-hair) goes to the store, criticizes Dejiko and Gema about their speech, and wants to buy Puchiko.
6. Episode 6
Dejiko loses her tail in a mop fight with Rabi~en~Rose and two otaku (""fans of Dejiko""), Takeshi and Yoshimi, find it.
7. Episode 7
Dejiko is accused of making a naughty doujinshi about two Takurous; Dejiko beats Gema up.
8. Episode 8
Puchiko practices her eye beam.
9. Episode 9
Minagawa Takurou gets stomach pains; Rabi~en~Rose reveals the origin of her hair dice.
10. Episode 10
A Dejiko imposter frames Dejiko for stealing Minagawa Takurou's bread.
11. Episode 11
Dejiko dreams of steamy, hot rice.
12. Episode 12
A monster invades the city, and Dejiko's eye beams are useless against it.
13. Episode 13
Spirits apparently take over Dejiko.
14. Episode 14
A violent guy comes to Gamers desperate for rice.
15. Episode 15
This is a music video of the song ""Party Night"".
16. Episode 16
Dejiko makes a bomb Christmas cake for Rabi~en~Rose.
