Following the successful end of the Fourth Shinobi World War, Konohagakure has been enjoying a period of peace, prosperity, and extraordinary technological advancement. This is all due to the efforts of the Allied Shinobi Forces and the village's Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki. Now resembling a modern metropolis, Konohagakure has changed, particularly the life of a shinobi. Under the watchful eye of Naruto and his old comrades, a new generation of shinobi has stepped up to learn the ways of the ninja. Boruto Uzumaki is often the center of attention as the son of the Seventh Hokage. Despite having inherited Naruto's boisterous and stubborn demeanor, Boruto is considered a prodigy and is able to unleash his potential with the help of supportive friends and family. Unfortunately, this has only worsened his arrogance and his desire to surpass Naruto which, along with his father's busy lifestyle, has strained their relationship. However, a sinister force brewing within the village may threaten Boruto's carefree life. New friends and familiar faces join Boruto as a new story begins in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.

1. Boruto Uzumaki!
Prior to entering the Ninja Academy, Boruto meets a boy named Denki, who is being forced to join the academy for the sake of his father's company.
2. The Hokage's Son!
After being suspended for the uproar he caused at the entrance ceremony, Boruto makes his way to the academy for the first time. His classmates ostracize him for being the son of the Seventh Hokage and for being suspended. Iwabe Yuino, one of Boruto's classmates, picks a fight with him. Iwabe is an older student who has a keen sense for battle, but was held back a year for his bad behavior. At first, Boruto ignores him no matter what he says. But when he sees Iwabe punch Denki for telling him to stop, Boruto can't ignore him any longer.
3. Metal Lee Goes Wild!
Boruto's classmate, Metal Lee, is very dilligent and is skilled at taijutsu. Unfortunately, he gets nervous easily and is unable to do his best when people are watching him. One day one of his classmates, Shikadai Nara, says something that enrages Metal, who attacks Shikadai the next day. Caught in the middle, Boruto notices that Metal's chakra is warped, just like Denki's.
4. A Ninjutsu Battle of the Sexes!
At the suggestion of Shino Aburame, their homeroom teacher, Boruto and his classmates split off into gendered teams to capture flags placed on the roof. Boruto and the rest of the boys' team quickly head for the roof, but they struggle with traps and the girls' team, led by Sarada Uchiha and Chocho Akimichi. Desperate to capture a flag before the girls' team, Boruto tries out a Summoning Jutsu, but he ends up summoning something unexpected!
5. The Mysterious Transfer Student!
A student named Mitsuki has transferred into Boruto's class from Hidden Sound Village. He overwhelms Iwabe in sparring and shows his genius by solving difficult problems. However, Boruto and the others are unable to tell what he is thinking. Meanwhile, someone who has been doing repair work on the school suddenly goes berserk. Boruto and the others rush over. Another side of Mitsuki emerges as he starts muttering strange words.
6. The Final Lesson!
Boruto, Shikadai and Mitsuki arrive at the location they are told to go to by Shino. They notice their teacher is acting different than he usually does— and Shino suddenly attacks them! Shino belongs to the Aburame clan, a clan of Insect Users. He unleashes a swarm of Parasitic Insects. Boruto and the others can't match the skill of someone who's a jonin. But even in this situation, Mitsuki remains calm and coldly stares at Shino.
7. Love and Potato Chips!
Cho-Cho's scared because she thinks she's being watched by someone, so she decides to catch them in the act. She succeeds in snagging Magire Kakuremino, and it turns out he wasn't watching Cho-Cho, but Sumire, the class rep, whom he secretly likes. Cho-Cho urges him to declare his love, and at first Magire hesitates. But he takes the leap and tells Sumire how he feels!
8. The Dream’s Revelation
The shadowy, warped chakra that only Boruto can see takes over more people, causing them to rampage. It only affected people within the Academy at first, but now it’s extending its reach into the village. Can it be stopped? And later, a Visual Jutsu places Boruto within a dream—and afterward, Boruto declares the dream has awakened his Byakugan, the Kekkei Genkai unique to his mother’s Hyuga Clan. Naruto does not believe him, so Boruto seeks advice from his grandfather, Hiashi Hyuga.
9. Proof of Oneself
Under his father and grandfather’s guidance, Boruto spars with his aunt Hanabi. Boruto has sought this match in order to win acceptance from his father, but no matter how hard he tries, he can’t activate his Byakugan in any form. He begins to doubt that he even saw the shadowy warped chakra at all, and feels even worse when people begin to think he lied. But then Boruto sees another person being manipulated by the mysterious shadow
10. The Ghost Incident: The Investigation Begins!
Boruto nicknames the mysterious shadow “The Ghost” and is excited when he and his friends Shikadai and Mitsuki decide to solve the recent “Ghost Incidents.” Shino secretly lends Boruto a helping hand by giving their class an assignment to research different workplaces. Meanwhile, Sai, who once served in The Foundation of the ANBU Black Ops, makes a big discovery while investigating the same incident under orders from the Hokate.
11. The Shadow of the Mastermind
During a tour of workplaces for their school assignment, Sumire, Wasabi Izuno and Namida Suzumeno get wrapped up in the Ghost Incident and are hurt. Boruto feels bad that he wasn't there to prevent their harm, and becomes more determined to solve the case. With the help of Tayori Kuroyagi the postal worker, along with Shikadai and Mitsuki, the team scans the village more closely. Then Shikadai and Mitsuki realize one possibility from something Boruto says casually.
12. Boruto and Mitsuki
The Ghost incidents suddenly come to an end and Boruto and his classmates are puzzled, but Mitsuki seems to know something they don't. Mitsuki himself realizes he's been undergoing some puzzling changes and questions his classmates in order to figure out his predicament. Soon after, a mysterious chakra begins to spread throughout the village.
13. The Demon Beast Appears!
After Mitsuki reveals more information about the Ghost incidents, Boruto is determined to find and stop the culprit! Meanwhile, Seventh Hokage Naruto and his top advisors are shocked to learn who the perpetrator is from the results of Sai's investigation. Just then, Nue—an enormous otherworldly beast—appears! The imminent danger to the village forces the Sixth Hokage, Kakashi, out of retirement!
14. The Path That Boruto Can See
The late Danzo Shimura was the founder and leader of the Foundation, an elite branch of the ANBU Black Ops. The recent incidents have been masterminded by someone who had sworn to carry on Danzo's wishes. Boruto is able to enter another world with his strange "eye." The perpetrator wields the Gozu Tennou, a weapon that relies on the power of the beast Nue, and is set on destroying the village. Boruto desperately tries to dissuade them, but can Boruto's thoughts unleash a curse from the past?!
15. A New Path
The ghost incident that threatened the Hidden Leaf Village is over, and now Boruto is unable to awaken the mysterious power he used. Things return to normal in the village and the Academy, but one thing still troubles Boruto and his classmates...
16. Crisis: The Threat of Failing!
[Filler] Exam day is fast approaching, and everyone at the Academy begins preparing for them. Repeating a grade is a possibility if you fail a test. Denki, who lacks skills in ninjutsu, is having a hard time using chakra to climb walls. And as usual, Iwabe can't wrap his head around what he's studying. Boruto and the others try to help them train and study, but end up making things more confusing for the two. Will Denki and Iwabe avoid being held back?
17. Run, Sarada!
[Filler] Sarada agrees to return a teddy bear to a young patient at the hospital, but she forgets it on the train and goes into a panic. Despite having dismissed Boruto and the boys for sitting on the roof of the train, Sarada does exactly that in her desperate search for the toy. Cho-Cho happens to see Sarada and takes her to the station’s lost and found. Sarada retrieves her package and all is well, until…
18. A Day in The Life of the Uzumaki Family
[Filler] The Uzumaki household is thrown into chaos when Himawari, Boruto's younger sister, catches a cold. Naruto rarely comes home since he became Hokage, and Boruto's anger toward him grows especially because his sister is so sick.
19. Sarada Uchiha
Boruto pulls a prank and is pursued around the village by Naruto. Seeing this, Sarada can't help but be exasperated, but a part of her grows wistful as she thinks of her father, Sasuke, whom she hasn't seen since she was a baby. She begins to feel doubt after she sees a photo of Sasuke with a young woman wearing glasses. Sarada becomes determined to learn the truth. Will the secret of Sarada Uchiha's birth be revealed?!
20. The Boy With The Sharingan
Sasuke sends a message to Naruto about a man possessing the Sharingan. Upon receiving the intel, Naruto rushes to meet with Sasuke. Meanwhile, Sarada, who has doubts about who her real mother is, joins Cho-Cho, who is about to set out on a journey to find her “real parents.” Upon learning that Naruto is on his way to meet Sasuke, they go after him. But danger looms when they come under attack.
21. Sasuke and Sarada
Sarada arrives at the tower where her father is, only to be hurt by Sasuke's surprising words and actions. Naruto and Cho-Cho can hardly bear to watch the awkward exchange between father and daughter, and try to think of something to help. But the party is attacked by a father-son duo who call themselves "Shin Uchiha," and who possess the Sharingan! Meanwhile, Sakura learns that Sarada has gone to meet her father.
22. Connected Feelings
Sarada is in shock after Sakura is captured by Shin's jutsu. Even Naruto, with his exceptional tracking skills, is unable to locate her. Then Sasuke discovers countless Sharingan embedded in Shin's arm. Following clues gleaned from Shin's arm, they come upon the laboratory of the heinous Hidden Leaf criminal, Orochimaru, who has been conducting research on Forbidden Jutsu. There, Sarada meets her father's former partners Suigetsu Hozuki and Jugo. She then asks Suigetsu to look into who her real mother is.
23. Bonds Come In All Shapes
Determined to rescue Sakura, Sarada pursues Shin with Sasuke, Naruto, and Cho-Cho. After brutal battles with Shin's clones along the way, Sarada is surprised to see the bond of trust between Sasuke and Sakura, who haven’t seen each other in years. But suddenly, Shin orders his children to kill the intruders. Since her parents share a bond of trust and love, will Sarada's journey to learn the secret of her birth reach a conclusion?
24. Boruto and Sarada
The Hidden Leaf Village is filled with excitement upon the arrival of the Kage for the Five Kage Summit. Boruto knows that security is tighter than usual, but he still plans on pulling a big prank. Meanwhile, Sarada has found a new goal, to become the Hokage, and trains hard. Behind closed doors, the Five Kage discuss highly classified intel that Sasuke has obtained involving Kaguya Otsutsuki.
25. The Turbulent Field Trip
Boruto and his class head to the Water country, towards Village of the Hidden Mist, for a field trip. Guided by Kagura Karatachi, Boruto and his friends couldn’t believe that a village that is so overflowing with life and modern used to be called the Village of the Bloody Mist, and that children were made to battle each other to the death back then. However, there are ninjas in the Hidden Mist that are unhappy with the current situation of the village too.
26. The Mizukage’s Successor
Boruto and his friends are being led through the Village of the Hidden Mist by Kagura and the 6th Mizukage, Chojuro, visiting their Academy. The Hidden Mist have increased their attention on sword techniques, and Boruto, seeing this intense view of the lesson, becomes excited. He then requests a bout with Kagura from Chojuro.
27. A Shinobi Bout of Friendship
Tsurushi Hachiya had been with Kagura throughout the Academy years, and now he finds Boruto a nuisance, and attempts to draw Boruto and his friends out by abducting Denki. In an attempt to save Denki, Boruto and his friends join Kagura, and head towards Hachiya, and battle with a large group of allies that had been gathered against them. During that time, a truth that Kagura had been hiding comes to light.
28. Declaration of War
Kagura makes up his mind to accept the famed sword Hiramekarei from Chojuro, but unwittingly becomes part of a plot set up by Kagura’s old acquaintance, Shizuma Hoshigaki, a man who opposes the new, peaceful shinobi order.
29. The New Seven Ninja Swordsmen!
Kagura unlocks the storeroom to let Shizuma take the Mist Blades. The New Seven Ninja Swordsmen begin an insurrection, the end goal being to turn their village back into the Blood Mist Village! News of the rebellion reaches Chojuro and Mei, the current and previous Mizukage. They are determined to execute the perpetrators, along with Kagura, who aided them. In order to change Chojuro's mind, Boruto makes an astonishing announcement.
30. The Sharingan vs. The Lightning Blade, Kiba the Fang!
Chojuro leads Boruto and Sarada to the location where Shizuma and his "New Seven Shinobi Swordsmen" are based. Shizuma uses his jutsu to create a fog that clouds the trio's vision, and they end up getting separated. Sarada is forced into one-on-one combat with a kunoichi, Buntan Kurosuki, who wields the Lightning Blade, Kiba the Fang! In the thick fog, Sarada uses her Sharingan, but her enemy is stronger than expected. Driven into a corner, she comes up with a counterattack. Meanwhile, Boruto goes up against none other than Kagura.
31. Boruto and Kagura
Boruto urges his friend Kagura to return with him, but Kagura rejects him and begins to attack. Although Boruto is desperate to save him, Kagura once again falls under a spell and is unable to defy Shizuma. Then someone steps in between the two as they battle. It's Mitsuki, and he has obtained intel about the rebellion. Just what is the intel, and can Boruto save his friend?
32. The Quest for Souvenirs
[Filler] The field trip comes to an end, and Boruto and his friends prepare to return to Hidden Leaf. Chojuro, the Mizukage, sees them off, but Kagura is nowhere to be seen. The class makes it back to the Leaf Village safely and Boruto is relieved to be home. But Himawari isn't her usual cheerful self. She's been looking forward to the souvenir that Boruto promised her, which he completely forgot to get! Boruto decides to tell the truth and beg for Himawari's forgiveness, but he misses his chance, and things gets worse!
33. The Super Beast Scroll Slump!
[Filler] Inojin has loved to draw since he was small, and his ninjutsu speciality is the Super Beast Scroll. But one day, he suddenly loses his ability to use his jutsu! Puzzled, he talks to his father, Sai, who uses the same jutsu. Even though Sai is sympathetic, he doesn't give Inojin a way to overcome his slump. Instead he suggests that his son enter into a children's art contest, which Inojin halfheartedly does.
34. The Night of the Shooting Stars
[Filler] Boruto and his classmates decide to go camping to try to catch the mysterious fish, the Eternal Carp, said to be unforgettably delicious. With graduation coming up this could be the last time the class does something together, so Boruto figures this is the perfect opportunity to catch one, but the fish proves to be very elusive.
35. The Parent Teacher Conference!
Prior to the graduation exams, it's decided that the students will take part in a three-person interview to discuss their future plans. Boruto, who has passed his ninjutsu courses with flying colors, realizes his path toward becoming a "ninja" has been trouble-free and easy. As the students prepare for their finals, Boruto meets a journalist named Sukea who is doing a story on them. Something about Boruto's indifferent attitude about his future as a ninja raises a red flag in Sukea, and he gives Boruto a warning.
36. The Graduation Exam Begins!
It is time for the graduation exams. Boruto and the others complete the first-round written exam and move on to the next. The second round has the students facing off against Kakashi—the previous Sixth Hokage—and the academy instructors in actual combat situations. With the goal to "steal the bell" from Kakashi, every student rushes into action. However, the going is rough against Kakashi and the teachers who guard him. Somehow, Boruto reaches Kakashi first, but the Sixth Hokage shows no mercy. After a tough fight, he coldly tells Boruto that he's not suited to become a ninja!
37. A Shinobi's Resolve
Boruto was the first to challenge the graduation exam’s proctor Kakashi, after being the first to arrive at his location, however, he is easily held down. Furthermore, Kakashi criticized not only Boruto himself, but also all his classmates, leading Boruto to become extremely frustrated. Boruto’s classmates arrive, and manage to free Boruto through a combined effort, allowing him to escape from Kakashi. Boruto is uncharacteristically depressed, so his classmates do their best to restore his spirits. Finding himself again, Boruto proposes a strategy to everyone.
38. Formation of the Three-Man Squad?
Boruto and his friends are successful in becoming apprentice ninja, ‘Genin’, their first step. Firstly, they must form their basic teams to carry out missions in, a three man cell. Boruto expected to group up with his close friend Shikadai; however, Shikadai is forming a cell with Inojin and Chocho, following in their parents’ footsteps of the ‘Inoshikacho’ trio. Boruto then becomes grouped with Sarada and Mitsuki…….
39. The Path Lit by the Full Moon
Mitsuki was originally from another village, the Village of the Hidden Sound. But since meeting with Boruto and the others, Mitsuki has decided that he will now remain at the Village of the Hidden Leaf and become a ninja. In the past, Mitsuki has had his memory taken away from him, and had lost his identity, along with what he wants to achieve in life, only to awaken in an unfamiliar laboratory. The mystery that surrounds Mitsuki, and the plethora of thoughts that surround him, has now cleared up for him.
40. Team 7: The First Mission!
Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki have come together and formed ‘Team 7’. The three, led by Jonin Sarutobi Konohamaru, have received their first mission. The mission details the repelling of bandits who have been attacking a village, and making it so that they never come back again. Boruto and the others immediately depart for the village, and come face-to-face with a young woman named Kiri, who is the daughter of the village chief who had suddenly passed away and has inherited her father’s role, and the others who support her.
41. Strength in Unity
Ninja who were disguised as bandits have kidnapped Kiri. As Genin, Boruto and the others are not originally meant to be given missions that involve fighting other ninja. However, due to the pleading of the village and through Konohamaru’s judgement, Team 7 now has their mission changed from “Repelling Bandits” to “Rescue Kiri”.
42. A Ninja's Job
Boruto is dissatisfied with the team's easy and lackluster missions since its first one. Team 7 is assigned to capture a suspect who has barricaded himself inside a bank. Excited to show off his skills again, Boruto and the team rush to the site. But the suspect turns out to be a timid individual who was recently fired. A possibility soon arises that a certain organization could be involved!
43. The Byakuya Gang Surfaces!
An incident occurs in Hidden Leaf Village and the Byakuya Gang is suspected. The gang steals from the rich to give to the poor, and they've been active recently in several villages. Boruto disapproves of them, because he believes stealing is stealing no matter how noble the reason.
44. Shikadai's Doubts
The Byakuya Gang's activities become more brazen in the Hidden Leaf. While some people view them as heroic, noble thieves, Boruto can't get himself to approve of their actions. The genin are told to work together to capture the gang, and security in the village is increased. During this time, Shikadai meets a youth named Ryugi. Despite their age difference, a bond grows between them.
45. Memories from the Day of Snow
Shikadai became friends with Ryogi through playing shogi. However, recently Ryogi hasn’t been showing up at the usual meeting spot. Shikadai can’t stop worrying about Ryogi’s puzzling attitude on the last day he saw him, but he has no way to ascertain Ryogi’s true feelings. Meanwhile, Ryogi is plagued by a memory he can never forget.
46. Go! The Crest of Night Strategy
Spurred on by the Byakuyadan, people are now protesting the Kaminarimon Company, which is owned by Denki’s father. The village’s ninjas are summoned to quell the chaos, and each team is assigned a different protest location. Shikadai, Inojin, and Chocho (Team 10) go to their positions, but Shikadai, noticing something strange on the map, slips away from his post.
47. The Figure I Want to Be
The Byakuyadan raid Scientific Ninja Weapons researcher Katasuke Tono’s lab. Shikadai and Boruto corner the escaping thieves who robbed the scientific ninja weapons that were under development. However…
48. The Genin Documentary
[Filler] Team 5 receives orders to participate in a documentary promoting the ninja academy; team captain Udon has doubts about the idea, and his pupils feel pressured to prove themselves after being suspended during the Byakuya Gang incident.
49. Wasabi and Namida
[Filler] Boruto’s aunt, Hyuga Hanabi, is in charge of Team 15, consisting of the three girls Sumire, Wasabi, and Namida. Team 15 has been given the mission to “capture all the animals that have escaped the nature park, after someone had opened the cages”. Although the three are chosen for the mission, Wasabi and Namida begin arguing.
50. The Chunin Exams: The Recommendation Meeting
[Filler] The Chunin Selection Examination is held for promising genin from all Hidden Villages to gather and have their qualifications identified. In the Village of the Hidden Leaf, the ex-Ebisu team of Konohamaru, Udon, and Kazamatsuri Moegi are discussing between themselves the eligibility of the teams that they lead, shortly before the exam itself.
51. Boruto's Birthday
After Boruto hears some passing words about the young genin being with his father, and the fact that his father also wasn’t present at his birthday celebration, he feels more and more angry and lonely. During this time, Boruto and his team, Team 7, receive the mission to “capture the party of train theives who are hiding out in a town near the border of the Land of Fire”.
52. Sasuke's Shadow
Team 7 enters the mine where the thieves had been hiding out, only to be attacked by a powerful, strange-looking White Zetsu. They find out the mine connects to a ruin belonging to Kaguya Otsutsuki. Team 7 decides to investigate and engage the White Zetsu. As they proceed deeper and deeper into the mine, they make a shocking discovery!
53. Himawari's Birthday
In contrast to his classmates who have shown the desire to take the Chunin Examination, Boruto’s refusal of the exam confuses everyone. During this time, Boruto’s family is celebrating Himawari’s birthday by having the whole family together for the first time in a long while. Boruto is grateful that his father Naruto is keeping his promise of “celebrating Himawari’s birthday together”, however……. That night, the Uzumaki family is visited by a guest.
54. Sasuke and Boruto
Boruto’s anger at his father for ruining his sister’s birthday drives him to head to Naruto to directly talk to him. On the way, he comes across Sasuke. Fuelled by his anger, Boruto attacks Sasuke, only to be subdued in an instant. Having experienced Sasuke’s strength firsthand, Boruto asks to be taken in as his student…….
55. Scientific Ninja Tool
Boruto’s training as Sasuke’s student begins. But all Boruto has on his mind is to get the better of Naruto, so as soon as his training hits a slight bump, he would immediately seek a solution from Sasuke. Also, to show his strength to his father, Boruto decides to take the Chunin Examination. During that time, the Jinchuriki Killer Bee is assaulted by a member of the Otsutsuki clan, Momoshiki, who has appeared from a different dimension.
56. Rivals, Gather!
The Chunin Examinations are finally beginning, and to that end genin from a multitude of villages are gathering at the Village of the Hidden Leaf. Each of the genin from the different villages are sizing one another up, taunting one another, resulting in high tensions. Finally, the First Test of the Chunin Examination begins.
57. The Reason I Can't Lose
For the Second Examination of the Chunin Examinations, the teams of three will be playing a game of “Capture the Flag”. While Sarada and Mitsuki infiltrate enemy territory to grab their flag, Boruto has taken on the role of defending their own flag by himself. However Boruto is caught in a pinch as he get attacked by the three Senka brothers of the Village Hidden in the Mist.
58. The Tournament Begins!
Finally it’s time for the Third Examination. From here on it’s individual battles, and the examinees get to display the fruits of their training in a tournament style battle. The tournament rounds are displayed, and Boruto’s first opponent is Yurui of the Hidden Cloud, Shikadai’s is up against Yodo of the Hidden Sand, who is always listening to music on her earphones, however….
59. Boruto vs. Shikadai
Chocho VS Shinki of the Hidden Sand. Facing Shinki who possesses the cool and eeriness of someone who can hardly be thought of as a Genin, Chocho give it her all in a rare moment. On the other hand, Boruto and Shikadai who both won their first round battle await their approaching clash. The close friend who up until now have worked together in all types of situations, and overcame desperate scenarios will battle each other in earnest!
60. The Hidden Leaf vs. The Hidden Sand
The tournament has come to its grand finale. The match between Sarada VS Araya of the Hidden Sand has begun. Sarada assaults relentlessly with her specialty of shuriken attacks and Sharingan. However, Araya is able to dodge those attacks without even moving, and forces Sarada into a corner. In the match between Mitsuki and Shinki, the two of them have conserved their strength in preparation for an epic showdown between them.
61. The Iron Sand User: Shinki
The final battle of the tournament begins with Boruto, Sarada and Shinki participating in a battle royale. As the lone representative remaining from the Hidden Sand, Shinki is determined to preserve the pride of the Sand, and goes on the offensive against Boruto and Sarada. Boruto and Sarada team up to fight Shinki, but he puts up an impenetrable defense. Sarada falls, and Boruto's chakra is nearly exhausted, but he refuses to give up!
62. The Otsutsuki Invasion
Spontaneously, the Ōtsutsuki clan’s Momoshiki, Kinshiki and Urashiki appears in the tournament arena. Facing Momoshiki who is after Boruto’s father Naruto, Boruto fires technique after technique at Momoshiki using the scientific ninja tool to no avail, as they are all absorbed by the Rinnegan on Momoshiki’s palm. On the other side, Kazekage Gaara and Mizukage Chōjūrō stands before Mitsuki, who is being targeted by Urashiki.
63. Sasuke’s Secret Weapon
Naruto has disappeared, after fighting with all his power to protect his people from the Ōtsutsuki clan who appeared from the alternate dimension. Standing in the village where the Ōtsutsuki clan has now gone from, after experiencing his father’s strong will to protect his people and his own powerlessness, Boruto feels that he completely understands his father’s words of “you are unfit to be a ninja”. Sasuke, as his teacher, imparts him a few words. Thereafter, Sasuke tells Boruto, who has grown a little as a ‘shinobi’, about a certain mission.
64. Rescuing Naruto!
To avenge the assault from Momoshiki, and to save his father who has been kidnapped, Boruto, Sasuke and the Kage, who are the leaders of the villages, head to the alternate dimension. Against the almighty power of Momoshiki and Kinshiki of the Ōtsutsuki clan, Sasuke and the Kages engage in fierce combat with them. In the midst of all that, Boruto and Naruto are finally able to face each other, having always avoided this situation in the past. However to this father-son duo, Momoshiki declares some mysterious words.
65. Father and Child
While Boruto is watching on, Naruto and Sasuke begin their battle against Momoshiki, who has attained further power. As the two heroes who defeated Kaguya who was also from the Otsutsuki clan in the past, Naruto and Sasuke demonstrate their tremendous power to overwhelm Momoshiki. However, the intrusion of an unexpected party disrupts the situation. Naruto and the others are cornered in a desperate situation. Boruto is then entrusted to enact a crucial strategy by his master, Sasuke.
66. My Story!
The ninja from the various villages who had gathered for the Chunin Examinations begin their road home, and life in the village gradually returns to normal. Boruto, who broke the rules in the Chunin Examination, made his apologies to everyone, and is now concerned about Momoshiki’s statement of “from henceforth you will be shouldering a cruel destiny”. What will Boruto make of this statement through all of his experience until now?
67. Super Cho-Cho Butterfly Mode!
Akamichi Chocho of the Inoshikacho trio has a well rounded body type and loves delicious food. In saying that, due to her age she starts wanting a handsome boyfriend, and so begins to look after her figure. During that time, Team 10 of the InoShikaCho trio and Team 7 with Boruto and friends are tasked to protect the main actor of a popular television drama, Tomaru, and his in-show girlfriend Ashina, together. Boruto gathers to hear about the details of the mission, and sees a pretty young lady he had never seen before.
68. Super Cho-Cho Kiss Mode!
Team 7 and Team 10 are visiting the filming location of the drama for their mission when they are attacked by ninja wearing gas masks, and an actress has been injured. The main actor Tomaru has specified a person to stand in for the actress, and that person is Chocho……!? Tomaru has taken an interest in the slimmed down Chocho, and Tomaru’s attitude and has Chocho over the moon.
69. Super Cho-Cho Love Upheaval!
The main actor of a television drama Tomaru has been kidnapped by the ninjas who appeared previously during a shoot, and they are demanding a ransom. Chocho is extremely concerned about Tomaru, and is angry at Tomaru’s bodyguards, Jonin Konohamaru and Moegi, for being unable to prevent this from happening despite being there. The female lead Ashina has been chosen to be the one to pay the ransom by the kidnappers, but among all this, Boruto and Shikadai can’t help but feel that something is off about this whole situation.
70. The Other Side of Anxiety
Metal has begun training to study the ultimate Taijutsu technique, the “Eight Gates”, from his father Rock Lee. To prevent himself from losing his nerves and failing at the training, Metal sought out an item that can calm his nerves. But for some reason the item has no effect, and is told by his father to stop the training. At this time, Metal meets his father’s mentor, Might Guy, who fought in the Fourth Great Ninja War, and faced off against the mastermind of the war together with Kakashi.
71. The Hardest Rock in the World
The first Five Kage Summit since the Otsutsuki clan’s invasion is being held in the Village of the Hidden Leaf, and the past Kages are also gathering. However the third Tsuchikage Ohnoki who was meant to come has not appeared, and the meeting has begun without him. Around this time Boruto and rest of Team 7 are attending a meeting with other ninjas in regards to security during the summit. But Boruto is bored by this unexciting mission, and is completely disinterested. Mitsuki then poses a certain question to his teammates of Team 7.
72. Mitsuki's Will
The ninjas who were guarding the entrance to Village of the Hidden Leaf have been attacked by someone, and Mitsuki has vanished. The unknowing Boruto and Sarada visit Mitsuki’s house, where he lives by himself, to pass on a message that a mission that was planned for them has suddenly been cancelled. Having not met him, they grow concerned and begin looking for him. On the way, they meet the Jonin of the village, who have been summoned by the Hokage, and enquires as to what is going on.
73. The Other Side of the Moon
Boruto and Sarada have snuck out of Konohagakure to go look for Mitsuki despite the village being on high alert. Seeking clues on Mitsuki’s whereabouts, the two head toward the lab of his so-called “parent”, Orochimaru. Boruto manages to catch the guards off guard and sneak through the entrance into the lab. Upon seeing what lay within, together with what he heard from Orochimaru, Boruto realizes that he actually doesn’t know anything about Mitsuki. Around this time, the village figures out that Boruto and Sarada are missing, so Shikadai and the rest of Team 10 are entrusted with the task of tracking them down.
74. The Enemy, Ino-Shika-Cho!
Orochimaru tells Boruto and Sakura about the White Snake Sage who lives in Ryuchi Cave. On their way there, the two are confronted by Team 10, which is determined to take the two back to the village so that they are not labeled as "rogue" ninja. 75. The Trials of Ryuchi Cave
Seeking clues on Mitsuki’s whereabouts, Boruto and Sarada decide to go to Ryuchi Cave, home to the White Snake Sage that Orochimaru spoke of. Unfortunately, they have no clue where Ryuchi Cave is located. To make matters worse, Team 10 (lead by Moegi) block their path in order to bring them back by any means necessary. Boruto and Sarada manage to shake them off, but can the two really make it all the way to the White Snake Sage?
76. Incurring Wrath
The White Snake Sage tells Boruto and Sarada to acquire scales called “Gekirin” from the wild serpent Garaga. As they travel through Ryuchi Cave to get the Gekirin, an enormous snake appears before them. This snake was in fact Garaga, but Boruto and Sarada find themselves in a tough spot, overwhelmed by its size and ferocity. Meanwhile, Moegi from Team 10 reports back to Konohagakure. From her report, it seem that somebody who acquired knowledge of the village’s top-secret information may be related to Mitsuki’s disappearance.
77. A Fierce Enemy: Garaga’s Ferocious Attack!
Determined to get their hands on the Gekirin via whatever means necessary, Boruto teams up with the others to try and corner Garaga. But Garaga’s ability to accurately detect the location of his opponents and the ability to change them into stone forces Boruto into a hard battle. Amidst the battle, Boruto and his friends recall a strangeness in Garaga’s movement and form a strategy according to that, and are finally able to corner Garaga. Then, Boruto raises a certain proposal to Garaga.
78. Everyone’s Motives
Mitsuki is taken by Hidden Stone Ninjas, Kokuyō, Sekiei and others. Yokuyō* (Kokuyō) and the others are heading towards their home country, the Land of Earth. On the other side, after receiving the information from the White Snake Sage using his power that Mitsuki is headed towards the Land of Earth, Boruto and his group are also advancing towards the Land of Earth.
79. Reunion with Mitsuki
On the road to Boruto and his group, searching for Mitsuki, there is Kokuyō. Kokuyō has enough strength to be able to defeat the Jonin that the Hidden Leaf Village sent to look for Mitsuki and bring Boruto and the others back. With the appearance of a helper, somehow they are able to repel Kokuyō and can finally have their desired meeting with Mitsuki, but...!?
80. Mitsuki's Friend
Mitsuki refuses to return to the village with Boruto and the others, and instead wish to continue on with Kokuyō’s group. During this, Sekiei’s become more ill, and his condition also worsens. In order to help the suffering Sekiei, Kokuyō heads in the direction of their comrades, and during this time Sekiei says to Mitsuki “I want you to teach me about humans”. Around this time, Kurotsuchi, the Fourth Tsuchikage, is looking after her grandfather, Ōnoki, who’s health is in shambles, when she is attacked by a group of unidentified people.
81. Boruto's Wish
Unable to bring Mitsuki back with them, Boruto, who sustained injuries, retreats with Sarada, Shikadai and the others, and takes cover. However, being close to the borders of other countries means that they may be attacked at any moment. For safety, Inojin and Chocho decide to investigate their surroundings. During that time, Inojin becomes attached to a strange being that is “born” of the earth. Around that time, the unconscious Boruto witnesses a dream in his hazy stupor.
82. Infiltrating the Hidden Stone Village
Leaving behind Inojin in the case of an emergency situation, Boruto and the rest aim towards The Village Hidden in the Stones (Iwagakure). They decide to rely on the former Tsuchikage, Ohnoki, who they met at the Five Kage meeting. As they look for where Ohnoki is, Boruto and his friends are spotted by a certain character as they are infiltrating into the village. On the other hand, after being unable to make contact with the scout team that was sent to The Village Hidden in the Stones, the leading Jonin of Team 7, Konohamaru is sent after them.
83. Ohnoki's Justice
After Boruto and his friends finally arrive at Ohnoki’s place. For some reason he is refusing to help them. Not only that, they are suddenly attacked by “Akuta” group and someone called “Kuu” and got split up, so they all decide to head towards the meeting areas individually. Around then, Mitsuki, who is at Hidden Stone ninja Kokuyou’s hideout, is welcomed as a “friend” by another Hidden Stone ninja, Sekiei.
84. Ohnoki's Thoughts, Ku's Thoughts
Boruto and friends are all heading to the meeting point where Inojin is waiting for them, separately. However, Boruto, who through a course of events is accompanying Ohnoki towards the meeting point, accidentally wanders into a training ground where the Hidden Stone’s ninjas have set up a barrier.
85. The Heart Stone
To release himself from the barrier, Boruto desperately searches for the Heart of Stone, but is still unable to locate it. At that point, a member of the Genbu sannin-shu (Genbu Shinobi Trio), Sekki, a genin who came for the Chunin Examinations the other day, appears. Sekki is also here at the training ground for his own Heart of Stone, but is also having trouble finding it. The two cooperate with Ohnoki, and continues the search.
86. Kozuchi's Will
Together, Boruto and Ōnoki, the elder Tsuchikage, manage to escape the barrier surrounding Sanzu Plains. Ōnoki then brings Boruto to a place that bears special meaning to him. There, he tells Boruto about his hopes for the future, a topic he’d been pondering ever since he lost his grandson Kozuchi. Meanwhile in Iwagakure, Kū, the creator of synthetic humans, tries to take over Iwagakure in order to realize his plans before time is up.
87. The Sensation of Living
Kakou, a synthetic human alongside Kokuyou and Sekiei, appears before Boruto and Ōnoki with orders from Kū to capture Ōnoki. Boruto and Kakou engage in battle, though Boruto finds himself struggling, as Kakou was designed for the sole purpose of fighting and was capable of Dust Release ninjutsu. At the same time, Shikadai manages to slip past the Akuta that guard Iwagakure in order to deliver news of Iwagakure’s situation to Konohagakure.
88. Clash: Kokuyou!
Boruto and Ōnoki have been captured and are brought back to the center of Iwagakure. However, with Iwagakure under Kū’s total control, the village underwent a complete transformation. Ōnoki, at a loss for words, tries to reprimand Kū, but Kū refuses to obey him and orders Kokuyou and another artificial human Kirara to attack them. And the one who comes to save them from mortal peril is none other than Shikadai.
89. A Piercing Heart
After separating from Shikadai and the others, standing in front of Boruto and Sarada is Kirara, who is a Fabrication (synthetic human) created by Kuu. Kirara, who is skilled in genjutsu, made the two into puppets that move according to her will, and pitted them against each other in a fight for their lives. On the other hand, shut in a room by Kuu and the others is Ohnoki, who is thinking about how the current situation in the village is different to what he imagined, and the words that Boruto has said to him many times, and reflecting on the things that he has committed.
90. Mitsuki and Sekiei
After suddenly being attacks by Mitsuki, who he brought from the Village of the Hidden leaf and taking massive damage, Kuu escapes. Chasing after Kuu, Boruto and Sarada is blocked by Kirara. On the other end, Sekiei, who witnessed what has been going on and believed that Mitsuki is his friend is stunned by Mitsuki’s actions, and becomes confused, and attacks Mitsuki. Mitsuki does not want to fight Sekiei, and tries to stop Sekiei, however Sekiei completely shuts Mitsuki out.
91. Ohnoki's Will
Kuu appears once again in front of Boruto and his friends. Kuu ridicules Boruto, who will believe in Mitsuki no matter what happens, and provokes Boruto into attacking him, who is however stopped by someone. At that time, Ohnoki relies on the help of a Hidden Stone Ninja, Sekki, and is trying to reach Kuu by any means. Also, after reaffirming his own true will and vision, Ohnoki is prepared to fight Kuu to the death in order to stop Kuu’s rampage.
92. A New Ordinary
Boruto and the other Leaf Genin return to the Hidden Leaf with Mitsuki. However, Mitsuki is detained and subjected to hours of interrogation. And since Boruto and the others have taken actions that would normally banish them from the village, it is decided that they will lose their genin qualification as punishment

The Hidden Leaf established Family Day to allow busy parents to spend a day off with their children. Boruto and his sister Himawari await the day with anticipation. The day arrives, and Boruto is happy that his father was able to finish work and come home, so he decides to let Naruto spend all of his time with Himawari.

95. Tactics for Getting Along With Your Daughter
The village is bustling with people due to the ‘Family Day’ events. Sasuke encounters Boruto, who’s been strolling along. When he hears about the new ‘Family Day’ holiday from Boruto, he reminisces about his childhood. Sasuke then sets off to spend it together with Sarada. Even though Sasuke is trying to make his daughter happy, Sarada just feels embarrassed about him. Meanwhile, someone appears in front of Sasuke to suggest some help: It’s his former sensei, Kakashi!
96. Blood, Sweat, and Namida
Namida from Team 15 uses an earsplitting cry that can temporarily paralyze or knock out an opponent, but she’s unable to fully control this special jutsu. When she panics, the jutsu can affect everyone nearby, even her allies. Worried that she’ll become a hindrance to missions, Namida decides to stop crying to prevent the jutsu from accidentally activating.
97. Shikadai's Decision
The Nara clan’s chief elder tells Shikadai to quit being a ninja and become a politician in order to increase the reputation of the clan. Shikadai is hesitant, but considers his father’s position and accepts. Boruto and the others are surprised by Shikadai’s sudden decision. Shikadai takes a hiatus from ninja missions and decides to study to become a politician.
98. The Cursed Forest
In a village on the outskirts of the Fire country, there’s been an incident where the villagers have been getting attacked by birds that have become ferocious. Boruto and his comrades from Team 7, and Sumire and her comrades from Team 15, will be jointly doing a mission to ‘Investigate and Resolve the Damage from the Wildlife’. And so, they immediately head over to the village upon invitation from their collaborator, Tosaka the ornithologist. However, they encounter a bizarre appearance of a monster.
99. Jugo and The Curse Mark
Boruto and Sarada confirm Juugo’s appearance. However, Juugo is under the influence of a ‘Cursed Seal’, and has transformed into a ferocious monster. The ‘Cursed Seal’ is one of Orochimaru’s research materials. Even though it amplifies strength and stimulates that attack instincts of living beings, Juugo is someone who possessed that capability from birth. Juugo has lost control over himself and begins to attack, putting up a difficult fight against Boruto and his comrades. Even though he’ll be getting assistance from his friends, will they cause damage to Juugo somehow?!
100. The Predestined Path
The cause is still unknown, but they are successively discovering birds that are under control of the power of the cursed seal. Boruto and his comrades from Team 7 are with Tosaka: They are running around together with Juugo, who can absorb the power of cursed seals. Boruto and his comrades continue to rescue the birds by using tranquilizers, so that Juugo and them won’t be controlled by the cursed seal again. However, an incident occurs where they lose all of their tranquilizers.
101. Jugo's Reinforcements
Just like Boruto and his comrades, an investigational team from the River country is studying the birds who have become ferocious due to the cursed seal. Juugo was captured by them. In order to not increase the damages due to the cursed seal beyond what’s already happened, Boruto and his comrades say that Juugo’s power is still necessary. Despite appealing to the investigational team from the River country, they are treated with contempt.
102. Melee!
Boruto and his comrades are trying to interfere with the plans to use the cursed seal’s power. Even though Boruto and Suigetsu are headed over to Jyuugo’s location, they get ensnared by a trap and get put in a tough position! On the other hand, Sarada and Karin employ diversionary tactics to battle their enemy. In addition, Wasabi and Namida have gotten separated from Boruto and his comrades. They get rescued by Sumire, but an enemy that she had fought against just a few days ago has reappeared in front of her! In order to protect the two of them, Sumire battles alongside Nue.
103. Migration Season
Jyuugo is suffering from the effects of the drug that activates the power of the cursed seals. Somehow or another. Boruto and Suigetsu want to try to save him, but they are rendered unable to move because of being injected with a tranquillizer. Meanwhile, it’s time for the migratory birds to set off. The birds that are harbouring the power of the cursed seal are getting ready to turn away and fly off to various places. Even though Boruto and his comrades are trying to hurry, there’s just too many of them. And then finally, Jyuugo transforms into a complete monster.
104. The Little Roommate
Boruto and his comrades of Team 7 are helping out on an arrest of an unidentified jewel theif. However, while in the midst of tracking down the thief, they almost completely lose sight of the criminal. But then, a cat appears in front of their eyes there. It’s still so small, and the cat seems to be in a frightened state. After thinking it over for a bit, Team 7 member Mitsuki decides to raise and keep the cat. At first, Mitsuki doesn’t know what to do. However, he eventually gives it a name and starts to take care of it in various ways.
105. A Wound on the Heart
Mitsuki is complaining about the worsening of his body, and turns up at Orochimaru’s research laboratory. Orochimaru and Mitsuki’s sibling, Log, hear stories from Mitsuki in order to figure out the root cause of his worsening condition. According to Mitsuki’s stories, whenever he used to fall asleep, he never had a ‘Dream’. But lately, it seems as though he has started to ‘Dream’ quite often. After hearing the discussion, Orochimaru considers something: The experiences up until now seem to have left some sort of impression upon Mitsuki’s heart and mind. Moreover, those influences appear to have even affected his body and health…!?
106. The Steam Ninja Scrolls: The S-Rank Mission!
Mirai is the cousin of jounin Konohamaru Sarutobi. She will be guarding the Rokudaime Sixth Hokage, Kakashi, and his friend and rival, Might Gai, as they head to the hot springs. Just like her mother, Kurenai, and her deceased father, Asuma, she became a ninja. In the midst of such a peaceful world, Mirai doesn’t think there will be many occasions to play an active role. However, the Nanadaime, Seventh Hokage, Naruto, especially appointed her for this mission. The ones whom she is guarding are considered to be ‘Heroes’ of the village. She guessed that it was an important mission that merely feigning as a leisurely trip for it’s outward appearance. During this mission, Mirai is going to try and put forth her best efforts to succeed as a ‘Ninja’.
107. The Steam Ninja Scrolls: The Dog and Cat War!
Mirai and her comrades have finally arrived to the Hot Spring District, which is on the official border between the Fire Country and the Hot Springs Country. In this Hot Spring District, they are about to hold the ‘Dog-Cat Festival’ otherwise practiced and known as the ‘Cat-Dog Festival’. It’s a gathering of both dog-lovers and cat-lovers. Amongst the festival goers are the ninja-dog user, Kiba Inuzuka and his lover Tamaki, the cat-user. They’re quarrelling over some insignificant thing. But before they know it, everyone in the entire Hot Spring District becomes increasingly enveloped into a conflict.
108. The Steam Ninja Scrolls: The Haunted Inn!
A few days have elapsed since the new guard mission initially began. Gai’s former student, Tenten, has come to deliver some luggage all the way to the inn to Mirai. They cure their fatigue in the hot springs together. But suddenly, Gai starts to boisterously exclaim, “There’s a ghost!” Mirai is surprised there’s been an incident in the guest room according to Kakashi. Despite this seemly odd event, Gai is shaking in fear while Kakashi and Tenten are amusing themselves with it. But at any rate, Mirai doesn’t believe there’s any reason for ghosts to exist. She tries to expose it’s true form and starts to investigate.
109. The Steam Ninja Scrolls: Potato Chips and the Giant Boulder!
In the midst of the mission, Mirai happens to meet a young girl, Tatsumi, who is travelling around the hot springs in order to hold a memorial service for her deceased mother. Mirai, Kakashi and Gai decide that she’ll travel along side them. They are headed towards a village that has a so-called ‘Secret Hot Springs’. However, the main part of the secret hot springs recently became blocked by a huge, fallen rock. The villagers don’t know what to do about it, but Mirai wants to help them. Even though they’re shinobi, there’s nothing that can be done; They fully realize that they’re powerless to do anything about it on their own. But then, someone appears who will fix it?!
110. The Steam Ninja Scrolls: The Resurrection Hot Springs!
Tatsumi suddenly tells Mirai that ‘There’s a hot springs where you can meet the dead’. Tatsumi’s motive for her journey wasn’t for a memorial service at all: It was to venture to the hot springs so that she could meet with her deceased mother once again. Seeing Tatsumi trying to get to her destination all along was very emotionally moving to Mirai. So even though they were en-route for a mission, Mirai wants to head over to the hot springs together with her to try and meet with the deceased.
111. The Steam Ninja Scrolls: Mirai's King!
What is the reason for Ryuuki targeting Mirai?! Mirai is sheltering suspicion against Ryuuki for an alleged domain of a jutsu that can relive the dead. She exposes the lies of Ryuuki. Ryuuki is a fan of the “Faith Of Jashin” that was linked to Asuma’s fate. Ryuuki tries to take the life of Mirai, who is a descendant of Asuma, orchestrating an attack using Tatsumi. Mirai doesn’t want to hurt Tatsumi, but she doesn’t know what to do.
112. The Chunin Selection Conference
As Hokage and leader of konohagakure, Naruto spends his time every day very busy along with his advisor, Shikamaru. They were perplexed overall with some things: Chaos during the Otsutsuki clan attack, the result of the Chunin Exams became quite vague. They thought everyone was trying to participate in the exams. And so, they don’t seem to reach a conclusion on who could be promoted to Chunin. Sasuke appears before them, who has been looking for the traces of the Otsutsuki clan.
113. The Qualities of a Captain
Boruto, Shikadai, Yuino, lwabe and lzuno Wasabi were gathered in a temporary team. The mission that was given to them is this: There is a rare “Flower” that only blooms for a short period of time. Collect it and bring it back. Even if the mission has been planned to be simple and conclude fairly quickly, the members ended up doing other things, Such as starting arguments with each other – childish things. Because of that, their progress didn’t go well. Meanwhile, they were worried that a nefarious person could appear to kidnap the rare plant. Will the members of this temporary team will safely fulfill the mission?
114. X Cards Proxy War!
More commonly known as “Gemaki” – is themed around famous “Shinobi” of each successive generation. It is currently a very popular card game. Boruto and his friends are getting more and more anxious to collect the cards. Meanwhile, Boruto and his friends realize that there were many people not recognized, but influential, who still needed to be transformed into cards. These included their former teacher, Aburame Shino, and Metal’s dad, Rock Lee. However, it seems that only a shinobi candidate between them can be selected to be placed in the next letter. And so, there is a dispute about which one should be chosen. A climate battle unfolds among those who support the Shino faction and the Rock Lee faction.
115. Team 25
Kakashi goes to the post office—disguised as Sukea, a freelance journalist—to observe Team 25, whose mission is to assist with sorting mail. Houki Taketori, Hako Kuroi, and Renga Kokubou are genin and Boruto's former classmates. As a team, they haven't distinguished themselves, so the missions they are assigned to always consist of simple tasks. Furthermore, they lack teamwork. To find the reason for this, Kakashi decides to talk to Houki, who for some reason dresses just like him.
116. Konohamaru and Remon
One day, Boruto and Konohamaru rescue Remon Yoimura from an attack. Remon says she has come to Hidden Leaf Village for sightseeing. Boruto and Konohamaru offer to show her around the Leaf and provide some protection as well.

Boruto and Konohamaru pay a visit to Remon's village, but are puzzled by Remon's cold demeanor. It turns out that Remon is a descendant of the Souma, a family that has protected the village from goblins for many generations. Thus, she is not allowed to leave the village freely. Furthermore, an important ritual is to be held shortly, so Kankitsu Akitsuki, Remon's childhood friend, imprisons her to prevent her from seeing anyone.
118. Something That Steals Memories
Konohamaru tries to rescue Remon by checking up on Kankitsu, but he is caught and forcibly taken back to the Leaf Village. Boruto becomes suspicious when he sees Kankitsu alone and acting as if nothing has happened. He decides to investigate the situation, only to be shocked by the sight that unfolds before him! Meanwhile, Konohamaru is disciplined by the Hokage after receiving a complaint from Remon's village.
119. Konohamaru's Ninja Way
Konohamaru and Boruto set out again to rescue Remon but find they’ve arrived a little late. Soma has broken the seal and begins his resurrection. Boruto and Konohamaru try desperately to stop this, but none of their weapons and ninjutsu work against him. Watching them, Remon is inspired to carry out her vow and employ the method her ancestor used long ago to seal the monster.
120. With Sasuke As the Goal
Due to Sasuke’s frequent absences from the village, he hasn’t had time to train Boruto. When Sasuke sends a message home, Boruto takes a peek at its contents and learns that Sasuke will be making a stop at a certain location in the Land of Wind. Determined to be trained by his mentor, he sneaks out of the village.
121. The Entrusted Mission: Protect the One Tails!
Boruto manages to reach Sasuke, but he sees his mentor disappear before his very eyes due to an attack by Urashiki Otsutsuki. It turns out that Sasuke, along with the Kazekage and Shinki, was in the middle of battling Urashiki, who was pursuing Shukaku, the One Tail. Gaara uses a Sealing Jutsu and manages to stop Urashiki, but he believes it’s only a matter of time before the jutsu is broken. He orders Shinki and Boruto to go to the Leaf Village to keep Shukaku safe.
122. The Puppet Battle!
Led by Kankuro, Boruto and Shinki guard Shukaku head for the Hidden Leaf Village. But on the way, they engage with a puppet created by the Otsutsuki Clan sent after them in pursuit. Kankuro entrusts Shukaku to Boruto and Shinki, and sends them on ahead so he can confront the enemy alone.
123. Urashiki Returns
Boruto and Shinki clash, and they ultimately end up going their separate ways. But an Otsutsuki puppet appears before Shinki. Just then, Boruto arrives with Shikadai and Temari, who were on their way to the Hidden Sand. Even with their help, the Otsutsuki puppet proves formidable. Meanwhile, Urashiki breaks through Gaara’s Sealing Jutsu and begins to move once again.

Boruto and Shinki continue on toward the Hidden Leaf Village to fulfill the mission entrusted to them. But Urashiki suddenly appears. Working together, Boruto and Shinki manage to slip away from Urashiki, but escaping him completely proves to be difficult.

While chasing down Urashiki, Boruto and Sasuke get hit with a strange Otsutsuki weapon. They find themselves in the Hidden Leaf, but years before Boruto was born. Although there's no sign of Urashiki, Sasuke thinks they should proceed carefully. Suddenly, a very young Naruto appears with Jiraiya and the two start questioning the "outsiders."
130. Genin, Assemble!
Boruto and Sasuke end up staying in the Hidden Leaf under the watchful eyes of Naruto and Jiraiya. At first, Boruto feels uncomfortable being with Naruto, but gradually warms up to him. Meanwhile, a group of genin—Sakura, Hinata, and Neji—are summoned for duty along with their chunin leader, Shikamaru. Boruto and Naruto head to the designated meeting place and find something unexpected.
131. The Power of the Nine Tails
Urashiki appears to steal the chakra of Nine Tails from Naruto, but his attempt is unsuccessful. In order to save Naruto, Boruto, Sasuke and Jiraiya pursue Urashiki. Jiraiya then notices that the malevolent Nine Tails Chakra has started filling the air.
132. Jiraiya's Assignment
At Jiraiya’s suggestion, Boruto and Naruto train to synchronize their chakra, but this turns out to be more difficult than expected. Boruto then runs into Neji and decides to talk to him. Sasuke, upon seeing a discouraged Naruto, is unable to ignore him.

Boruto and Naruto resume their training. Meanwhile, Sasuke is at a loss for words when Jiraiya expresses doubt about his identity. However, Jiraiya says that he will not pry if they join forces to come up with a strategy to defeat Urashiki.

Another intense battle begins for Boruto, Sasuke and Jiraiya as they try to defend Naruto from Urashiki. Sasuke protects Naruto, allowing Boruto and Jiraiya to barely escape with him.

Boruto's quick thinking exposes Urashiki's trick that enables him to see into the future and they manage to inflict some damage. But before they can breathe a sigh of relief, Urashiki emerges again with an even stronger move, and they're back in the same predicament!

The battle against Urashiki is over, and it's time for Boruto and Sasuke to return to the place where they rightfully belong. Boruto is wistful about leaving Jiraiya and Naruto. Suddenly, Jiraiya makes a request to Sasuke.

Sumire's wish comes true and she joins the Scientific Ninja Tools Team, leaving only Wasabi and Namida on Team 15. A new member, Tsubaki Kurogane, a young girl who hails from the Land of Iron, joins them.

Boruto's grandfather Hiashi's birthday is approaching and there's going to be a small family celebration. Boruto is chosen to select a birthday present, but he doesn't know what will please his grandfather, so he visits the Hyuga household and sneakily gathers information.
139. The Terror! Enko Onikuma
Enko Onikuma—one of Boruto's former classmates and a member of Team 40— was possessed by a Summoning Beast as a child. Now, she can manifest its enormous power. But lately, she hasn't been able to control her power, hindering her work on missions. Meanwhile, Ibiki Morino approaches Enko and tells her that she'll be working under him going forward.
140. The Mind Transfer Jutsu that Lost to Potato Chips
Inojin approaches his parents about mastering the Mind Transfer Jutsu. Cho-Cho agrees to assist and everything is set for training to begin. With his father Sai observing, Inojin starts training with Ino. But due to his lack of confidence, Inojin's unable to execute the jutsu, which ends up irritating his mother.
141. The Shinobi Prison: Hozuki Castle
Hozuki Castle is a prison run by the Hidden Grass, well known for being notoriously difficult to escape from. Boruto and Mitsuki are sent there to protect Kokuri, a former member of a brutal band of robbers known as the Mujina Gang who's now targeted by assassins after betraying and deserting the gang.
142. A Test of Willpower
Boruto and his team try to get Kokuri assigned to the same cell, but the warden, Benga, shuts the idea down. Looking for a weakness in Benga, they approach Doragu, the leader among the prisoners, for information they can exploit. Doragu is willing to give them information, but in exchange Boruto and the team must undergo a test of perseverance.
143. The Criminal Targeting Kokuri
It is discovered that a wooden tag used to prevent unauthorized entry into the medical unit has been stolen, and the prison guards begin a search for the culprit. Until the offender is found, all prisoners are locked in their cells. Once the culprit is found, each of their cellmates will be forced into solitary confinement. If this happens and the team becomes separated from Kokuri, their mission could be jeopardized.
144. Kokuri's Secret
Boruto and the others can't help but feel that Kokuri is hiding something from them. Meanwhile, Tsukiyo, a lieutenant in the Mujina Gang who's also imprisoned in Hozuki Castle, schemes to get Kokuri transferred to Hozuki Castle II, where his henchmen lie in wait.
145. Breaking out of Hozuki Castle
Boruto and Mitsuki worry that their mission is in jeopardy, since Kokuri is scheduled to be transferred to Hozuki Castle II. They decide to escape with Kokuri before he's moved. As they discuss their strategy with Sarada, their cellmate Kedama overhears them
146. Executing the Prison Break!
The clock ticks down to the rendezvous time for the escape, but there's no word from Sarada. If they miss this chance, everything will be ruined. Boruto puts his faith in Sarada and proceeds as planned with Mitsuki and Kokuri. Meanwhile, Sarada's lost consciousness from falling to the underground level of Hozuki Castle.

Boruto has a dream about the day he defeated Momoshiki Otsutsuki. It ends up bothering him so much that he can't focus on his mission. He then meets Tento, the son of Ikkyu Madoka—the Feudal Lord of the Land of Fire—who’s in the Hidden Leaf for a meeting with the Hokage.
149. Friends!!
Boruto's new mission is to guard Tento, who is obsessed with ninja and collecting X Cards. He begs Boruto to teach him ninja skills, and Boruto thinks this will be a good opportunity to knock some sense into Tento. Meanwhile, the Mujina Gang, which had been laying low after Team 7’s infiltration mission at Hozuki Castle, rears its ugly head.
150. The Value of a Hidden Ace
After completing his mission to guard Tento, Boruto is assigned a new B-rank mission with Sarada and Mitsuki. Boruto is excited to start but he finds the rare X Card that he had wanted in his pocket. Realizing that this was from Tento, he goes to their hotel and learns that Tento's life is in danger.

Boruto rushes to save Tento, but Shojoji the leader of the Mujina Gang blocks his way. Boruto dodges to protect Tento, but Shojoji and his Corpse Clone Jutsu prove to be too powerful. In the midst of all this, the mark on Boruto's palm reacts and paralyzes him.
152. Developing One’s Medical Ninjutsu
A training class on Medical Ninjutsu is to be held, and each team must send a representative. Sarada is chosen for Team 7. Despite Sakura being a Medical Ninjutsu specialist, Sarada doesn't have a knack for it and being a participant fills her with anxiety.

Tsubaki, Sumire’s replacement on Team 15, is proud of her samurai upbringing and is highly skilled, but her team’s overall mission performance is lackluster. Tsubaki devises a plan to hone her team’s skills, where they fight for who performs best on missions.

Himawari attends the Ninja Academy's trial session where participants get a taste of ninja training. Himawari’s already decided to become a ninja, which annoys Norimaki and Edo, who criticize her for being there just for fun. Things become uncomfortable when they're assigned to the same team.

One rainy night, guided by Mikazuki the cat, Mitsuki rescues an injured man. Mysteriously, Mikazuki seems to take a liking to the man who says he’s come to visit his sister who works in the Leaf Village. Soon after, Team 7 is assigned to back up the Leaf Police Force on a security mission. Their client is a president of a company who is being targeted by a serial killer known as "The Rainy Day Killer.

Cho-Cho and Choji go to the sweet shop after their training session, only to be disappointed that they are unusually out of azuki bean sweets. After hearing thieves have been raiding the deliveries, Cho-Cho plans to team up with Anko Mitarashi, her friend in desserts and beloved Ninja Academy instructor, to protect the azuki beans that she loves, and capture the bandits!

Using intel obtained from Shojoji the leader of the Mujina Gang, Sai and Sasuke journey to the Hidden Rain Village to find a location thought to be the hideout of an organization known as "Kara, the Husk.
158. The Man Who Disappeared
Boruto and Team 7 are tasked with a mission to find a missing researcher of a medical equipment company in a distant nation. Mugino, a jonin who has a keen sense of location, comes on board to guide and assist Team 7. Without wasting any time, Boruto and the team start their mission with Mugino.
159. The Hashirama Cell
Boruto and the team finally find the missing researcher. Despite his resistance, the team is determined to take him back safely to their client.
160. To the Land of Silence
Leaving Mitsuki in the care of Yubina, a doctor and friend of Mugino, Boruto and the others go to a black market in the Land of Silence, a dangerous and lawless gathering place for disgraced ninja. Team 7 make it to a shop located in the most dangerous district whose owner knows all the latest news. After a scuffle with the bodyguards, the team finally gets ready to ask the shopkeeper for information.
161. The Castle of Nightmares
The Hashirama Cell was extracted from the body of the First Hokage Senju Hashirama, and depending on how it is handled, its power to stimulate life energy to explosive proportions makes it extremely dangerous. Boruto and the others learn that the cell is in the hands of a wealthy individual who lives in Fushuu Castle, and plan on retrieving it. But there are others who are after it as well.
162. Escaping the Tightening Net
Boruto and the others are involved in a robbery incident at Fushuu Castle, and on top of being branded criminals, they are being pursued by a gang from the Land of Silence. Although they're determined to capture the true culprits, the gang keeps attacking and hampering their efforts!
163. The Pursuers
Team 7 and Mugino manage to evade the gang and continue their pursuit of the culprits. But on the way they encounter a squad of skilled ninja and the situation turns explosive. Amidst the tension they learn intel about the culprits, so the team set out in pursuit, but their way is blocked by Deepa.
164. The Forbidden Jutsu of Death
Boruto and the team finally catch up to the real thieves, two ninja brothers from the Land of Kasumi. Yuga uses a Forbidden Jutsu to summon a monster, and seals it and the team inside a strong barrier. Naruto insists on defeating it and getting out of the barrier. But Mugino argues that unnecessary fighting should be avoided since they don't know how to counter this special jutsu.
165. The Quadruplet's Duty
Boruto and the others manage to escape Yuuga's barrier, but this time his younger brother Hiruga gets in their way. Like Yuuga, Hiruga will resort to any method to fulfill his mission and uses his jutsu to seal away Boruto and the others. As Boruto tries to break the jutsu, he’s baffled by their rabid fighting style and their willingness to risk their lives.
166. A Battle to the Death
Boruto and the team are determined to reach Asaka, the eldest brother of the Land of Silence Ninja, before Deepa does. They catch up to him, but Deepa arrives soon after and attacks ruthlessly. They try to counter, but nothing seems to work. In the midst of their panic, Victor appears!
167. Their Decision
Boruto and Sarada convalesce at the Leaf Hospital while Mitsuki returns to Orochimaru's for treatment. For Boruto and Sarada, their inability to fight back against Deepa turns from frustration to resolve. Meanwhile, Konohamaru gives the Hokage his report regarding the incident, and in order to investigate the connection with the Kara more thoroughly, he asks that he be allowed to conduct surveillance on Victor's company.
168. Training Begins!
Boruto and Sarada begin intensive training after experiencing defeat. Boruto wants to make his Rasengan even stronger and seeks out Kakashi. Sarada is mentored by her father, Sasuke, in the use of her Sharingan. Meanwhile, Konohamaru and Mugino have been authorized to visit Victor's company in order to investigate his motives.
169. A Joint Mission With The Sand
Shikadai, Inojin, and Cho-Cho's Team 10 is assigned to a joint mission with Shinki, Yodo, and Araya from the Hidden Sand. The mission is to find and retrieve an Otsutsuki Puppet that Shikadai had once fought. Team 10 arrives in the Land of Wind and decide to stop at a certain shop. On their way, a man passes them who piques Shikadai's interest. Upon arriving, a chilling scene confronts the trio.
170. A New Rasengan
Shikadai comes to see Boruto in the midst of training and witnesses his friend's determination to break through his slump. Shikadai, who also experienced Deepa's frightening power, tells Boruto that a rematch with Deepa would be reckless. Boruto explains his real reason for wanting to become stronger, and asks for Shikadai’s help. Meanwhile, Sarada trains with Sasuke to hone her Sharingan, but Sakura worries about her well-being.
171. The Results of Training
Under Kakashi's watchful eye, Boruto succeeds in powering up his own style of Rasengan. And he demonstrates his progress in a battle against an opponent of Kakashi’s choosing. Meanwhile, Sasuke and Sakura switch places to train their daughter. With firm resolve, Boruto and Sarada continue their training and begin to see the results of their hard work.
172. A Signature of Fear
Iwabe, Denki and Metal pay a visit to Boruto after he lands in the hospital from overtraining. There, they meet Nattou Nishiki, a young boy who is also a patient. Rambunctious and brash, Nattou easily manipulates the three into getting him an autograph from a certain ninja feared by everyone!
173. The Secret Behind the Underground Room
Konohamaru and Mugino continue keeping their eye on Victor's company. They receive intel that the Feudal Lord of the Land of Valleys will be touring the company, giving them the opportunity to check the inner reaches of the secretive facility. Meanwhile, Boruto and Sarada complete their training and visit the woman who requested their previous mission.
174. The Revival of the Divine Tree
Boruto and Sarada rush to Victor's research lab where they find a horrifying plant stealing the chakra of the people near it. As they work with Konohamaru to try to bring it under control, Deepa appears!
175. Beyond the Limits!
Separated from Boruto and Sarada, Konohamaru battles Victor. But someone unexpected shows up to fight alongside him. Meanwhile, Boruto and Sarada are trying to defeat Deepa to even the score, but he still proves to be a formidable opponent despite all of their training.
176. Blockade the A-Un Gate!
Konohamaru and his teammates report their findings that the Kara receives outside assistance from people called Outers, and that these Outers may have covertly infiltrated the Five Great Shinobi Nations. Though Naruto feels that, as Hokage, he is responsible for protecting the village, he is unable to decide on a course of action.
177. The Iron Wall's Sensing System
The Yamanaka Clan, who have been tracking the village’s ingoing and outgoing traffic with their advanced sensory abilities, spearheads a plan to create a new sensory system and an operational test is conducted.
178. Our Fathers' Example
A memorial service is being held in remembrance of the many fallen from the Fourth Great Ninja War. Shikamaru and Ino reminisce about their fathers who died carrying out their duties until the very end in the hopes of a better future. Meanwhile, Ao, an aide to the Fifth Mizukage Mei, pays a visit to the Village Hidden in Leaves.
179. Victor's Scheme
The mysterious organization known as the Kara is about to take one of their plans to the next stage that involves a crucial item called a “Vessel.” However, having his own ambitions, Victor secretly panics as he tries to keep his true objectives hidden from Jigen, leader of the Kara, and the other core members.
180. The Assassin, Mugino
Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki are assigned to carry out Team 7’s missions by themselves until Konohamaru returns from an unexpected assignment. Boruto runs into Mugino in town and ends up going to his home at Mugino’s invitation.
181. The Vessel
The airship transporting Kara’s Vessel has gone missing, and the Inners call an emergency meeting. As the person in charge of transport, Victor is held responsible for this setback. Jigen, the leader of the Inners, rejects his excuses and they change their plans. Meanwhile, the Village Hidden in the Leaves launches an investigation into a mysterious crash.
182. Ao
After the Chunin Exams, Katasuke has returned to work at the invitation of the Hokage. Upon seeing him, Boruto becomes annoyed thinking about what happened during the exam. Team 7 is given a mission to escort Katasuke and transport a Scientific Ninja Tool. Stuck on a mission he doesn’t like, Boruto runs into Ao while aboard the Thunder Train headed to their destination.
183. The Hand
Team 7 has arrived at a high-tech research center along with Katasuke. There, they end up running into some familiar faces. The mission has ended without incident, and Boruto is ready to head home. However, there’s more they must do. Boruto and his friends end up cooperating in a test-run of a Scientific Ninja Tool that is under development. Boruto is unhappy at first, but as the test run continues his feelings start to change. As that happens, Team 7 is given a new urgent assignment from the Hokage.
184. Puppets
Konohamaru and Mugino have gone missing during a mission. Team 7, along with Katasuke and Chamaru, the Ninja Hound, go to the location where their communications cut out and they are attacked by mysterious puppets. Believing these puppets to be advanced Scientific Ninja Tools, Katasuke fights them with tools of his own. After disabling the puppets, Chamaru helps Boruto and the others pinpoint Konohamaru and Mugino’s location. But when they do, Ao appears before them.
185. Tools
Ao has turned hostile. In order to escape his attacks, Mugino attempts a risky strategy, which allows Boruto and the others to escape. Boruto and his friends are shocked at the events that have unfolded, but then Katasuke confesses something even more shocking. Meanwhile, after allowing Boruto and the others to escape, Ao is visited by Koji Kashin, a member of Kara—the Husk.
186. How You Use It
The showdown between Team 7 and Ao begins! Team 7 works together to launch a barrage of attacks, but countering Ao’s adept use of Scientific Ninja Tools will not be easy. Just as they seem to have cornered him, Ao reveals his greatest weapon.
187. Karma
As Boruto and his friends finish their battle with Ao, Koji Kashin, a member of Kara, appears! Koji binds them with a Sealing Jutsu and tries to eliminate them and complete his mission, but Konohamaru dispels the jutsu and confronts him one-on-one!
188. Awakening
Koji shows an interest in Boruto’s transformation and withdraws, and Boruto and his friends decide to head back to the village. On their way back, they discover an unconscious boy who has the same strange mark on his palm as Boruto.
189. Resonance
The battle between Garo—an Outer—and Kawaki—also known as the Vessel—begins! Garo’s entire body is equipped with Scientific Ninja Tools and Kawaki is able to transform his arm into various forms. Boruto and his friends are speechless. As the battle rages on, Kawaki is gradually overpowered and captured.
190. Escape
The team returns to the Advanced Technology Lab with Kawaki. Konohamaru has returned to the village to report on the mission. Naruto, concerned about the relationship between Kawaki and Kara, decides to go to the lab.
191. Stray Dog
Kawaki escapes the Advanced Technology Lab and finds himself in a bustling shopping district. Exhausted and hungry, he desperately searches for food. Sumire and Nue find him, and Sumire voices her concern about his injury, but Kawaki continues to be hostile.
192. The Past
Kawaki collapses and is tormented by nightmares from his childhood. As a child, Kawaki endured an abusive father, until one day a man appeared before him— none other than Jigen, the leader of Kara.
193. Coexistence
The Five Kage agree to place Kawaki under Naruto’s custody. Naruto takes Kawaki home, but he still refuses to open up to anybody. The atmosphere between Boruto and Kawaki, who fought each other before, turns threatening.
194. The Uzumaki Household
Kawaki starts living in the Uzumaki household, and at first he’s bewildered by their peaceful everyday life. Eventually he’s put to ease by the cheerful and welcoming atmosphere of the Uzumakis. Meanwhile, Boruto is furious that Kawaki has broken a vase that his little sister had made for their mother, fanning the flames between them. As a fellow wielder of the Karma, Kawaki makes a proposal.
195. A Vase
Kawaki goes into town with Naruto to get a new vase to replace the one that he broke. On the way to the Yamanaka Flower Shop, they are joined by Sarada. Unaccustomed to peaceful everyday life, he snaps at Sarada’s attempts to talk to him, and almost attacks a child for bumping into him.
196. A Binding Force
Kawaki watches a Shinobi Hand-to-Hand Combat match between Naruto and Boruto. Boruto uses his specialty, the Shadow Clone Jutsu, to take on his father, but he struggles. Upon seeing this, Kawaki tells Boruto to use the power of his Karma. Meanwhile, Kawaki becomes interested in the Shadow Clone Jutsu that Naruto and Boruto like to use.
197. Delta
In order to get a better handle on their Karmas, Boruto and Kawaki decide to train under more realistic conditions. As Naruto and Himawari watch, they activate their Karmas and confront one another. Meanwhile, Delta joins up with Koji Kashin, who’s still pursuing Kawaki. Somehow, Koji is able to sneak into the village without triggering the Hidden Leaf’s sensory system. Delta is left with no choice but to wait for his return. But when he doesn’t come back, she runs out of patience.

Delta forces her way into the Leaf Village to take Kawaki back and appears before Boruto and the others. Naruto confronts her to protect Boruto, Himawari and Kawaki. She attacks Naruto with Scientific Ninja Tools that have been implanted into her heavily modified body. In response, Naruto unleashes the power of the Nine Tails, and a fierce clash ensues!
199. Overload
Delta uses her destructive beam that can neutralize any regenerative power. Undaunted, Naruto forcefully suppresses it with a Giant Rasengan. He then turns up the power of his jutsu and propels it towards Delta. Unfortunately, Delta has been fitted with Scientific Ninja Tools and is able to absorb any jutsu, no matter how powerful… What will be the outcome of this battle?!
200. Becoming a Student
After losing his arm in battle, Kawaki is given a prosthetic arm powered by Naruto's chakra. Learning about the powers and capabilities of using chakra, Kawaki asks Naruto to be trained in ninjutsu.
201. Empty Tears
Kurama appears before Kawaki and tells him about Naruto's past. Hearing that they have similar experiences, Kawaki aspires to be like Naruto and strengthens his resolve to train to be able to defeat Jigen.
202. The Cult
Using the Transportation Technique, Sasuke arrives at a strange location that is covered with mysterious inscriptions. There he finds many surprising things about the Otsutsuki Clan. Meanwhile, Boro, one of the leaders of the Kara, has been using his mysterious powers publicly to heal the sick. He tells the people who have gathered that he has a way for everyone to achieve happiness.
203. Surprise Attack…!!
Kawaki's Karma starts to act up and Jigen, the leader of the Kara, appears before him! Not only are Naruto and Kawaki surprised, but so is Koji Kashin, who had been secretly keeping an eye on Kawaki. Jigen tries to take back Kawaki by force. Upon seeing this, Naruto battles Jigen to protect Kawaki! A direct confrontation between Naruto, the Seventh Hokage, and Jigen, the leader of the Kara, finally begins!
204. He's Bad News
Naruto has been pulled into a different dimension by Jigen. There he encounters Sasuke, who tells him that Jigen is a dangerous person and that they must do whatever it takes to defeat him immediately. Naruto and Sasuke work together to defeat Jigen in a fierce battle, but they struggle against Jigen's advanced fighting abilities and mysterious jutsu. Meanwhile, Boruto gets a bad premonition when his Karma starts acting up, and so he quickly returns home with Mitsuki. Kawaki and Sarada are there, worried about Naruto's safety.
205. Proof
With the enemy's sudden appearance, Naruto, the Seventh Hokage and leader of the village, has vanished. Shikamaru, the Hokage's aide, feels this is a grave situation and visits the Uzumaki household with a group of subordinates. Unable to discount the possibility that Kawaki is a spy for the Kara, he is suspicious of Kawaki and decides to place him under house arrest within a barrier for the time being. However, Boruto becomes annoyed with Shikamaru's attitude and lashes out. As that happens, Kawaki senses the chakra bond he has with Naruto through his prosthetic arm!
206. The New Team Seven
Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki, and Kawaki arrive at the dimension that Naruto is trapped in, but Boro is there waiting for them. The four create a team with Sarada leading them to fight Boro, who uses a black mist to paralyze his enemies.
207. Regeneration
The reformed Team 7 launches a series of attacks on Boro. But even when they land successful attacks, Boro instantly revives himself with his extraordinary regeneration powers.
208. Momoshiki's Manifestation
Despite sustaining serious damage from the new Team 7, Boro goes on a mad rampage, threatening Boruto and the others with total annihilation. Suddenly, Boruto awakens, but his consciousness has been taken over by Momoshiki Otsutsuki! As Sarada, Mitsuki, and Kawaki watch in shock, the resurrected Momoshiki displays enormous power.

(Filler) Anxious about what happened to Boruto and himself, and the danger the Karma poses, Kawaki begins to worry that his presence puts Hidden Leaf Village at risk, especially since Kara is after him.

Even after the encounters with Jigen’s deputies, The Leaf knows little about Kara. In order to learn more about Boro’s connection to Kara, Konohamaru and Sai are tasked with a mission to infiltrate his cult.
211. Tracking
(Mixed Canon/Filler) Someone has stolen data about the Leaf Ninja. With nothing unusual found in the surveillance system, it’s suspected a spy may have been planted inside the village. Upon finding this out, Shikadai, Cho-Cho, and Inojin begin searching for the culprit on their own.
212. Amado's Defection
Amado, a principal member of Kara who oversaw their research and development, kidnaps Shikadai and seeks asylum in the Leaf Village. In exchange, he promises to tell them everything he knows. Although he is someone they cannot trust, with Shikadai's life at stake the Hokage personally gets involved in the negotiation. Back at Kara’s hideout, Koji Kashin and Jigen clash, each trying to find out what the other’s motive is.
213. True Identity
In exchange for being granted asylum in the Village Hidden in the Leaves, Amado reveals everything he knows. Amado and Koji Kashin have been working together to bring down Jigen. He tells everyone that Jigen's true identity is Isshiki Otsutsuki, who accompanied Kaguya Otsutsuki to their world ages ago. He goes on to explain the Karma, the mark that plagues Boruto and Kawaki.
214. Shukumei
The battle between Koji Kashin and Jigen begins at Kara’s hideout. If Jigen regains the power of the Otsutsuki Clan, it will be impossible to counter him. Before that happens, Kashin tries to drag out Isshiki, who has taken over Jigen's body using a barrage of carefully devised techniques in order to destroy him. Through the tool that Amado uses, Naruto and the others are able to watch the battle from Leaf Village. Finally, Koji's plan works and their strongest and most evil foe, Isshiki Otsutsuki, appears! At the same time, Naruto and the group witness the phenomenon caused by the shock to Kawaki's Karma.
215. Prepared
Isshiki finally appears in his true form and goes to attack the Hidden Leaf Village in order to capture Kawaki, who will become his new vessel. Naruto and Sasuke, the only ones who are able to take on the superhuman Otsutsuki Clan, begin preparations. Boruto can't stay idle and wants to fight alongside Naruto and Sasuke. However, he’s anxious about his Karma, worrying about what will happen if Momoshiki takes over his consciousness once more.
216. Sacrifice
Boruto pulls Isshiki into another dimension for a final showdown. Naruto and Sasuke follow after them. Boruto, Naruto, and Sasuke fight to protect Kawaki and their village from Isshiki, who has the power to manipulate dimensions. Those who are left in the village can only pray for their safe return. Meanwhile, Amado tells Kawaki and Shikamaru that Boruto has the key to winning this battle.
217. Decision
Naruto and Sasuke fight fiercely, but their efforts are in vain as Isshiki drives them into a corner. Boruto takes desperate measures to get them out, but is unsuccessful. Just when it seems they are out of options, Naruto stands up, emitting an incredible amount of chakra. According to Kurama, this is his ultimate last resort, which gives him immense power at a great cost. Naruto begins his counterattack on Isshiki. He completely turns the tables on Isshiki, overwhelming him. However, Isshiki realizes something at the last minute and pulls Kawaki from the Leaf Village!
218. Partner
Naruto and the others are exhausted from their battle with Isshiki. Suddenly, Boruto attacks Sasuke. Momoshiki has taken control of Boruto’s consciousness and stands before them as an enemy. Kawaki desperately calls out to Boruto to snap him out of it. Unfortunately, his words are unable to reach him. Sasuke tells Kawaki a way to bring back Boruto’s consciousness. In order to save Boruto, Kawaki attempts a risky plan using a jutsu he only recently learned. While Kawaki and Sasuke fight a desperate battle, Naruto finally runs out of strength. As his consciousness fades, he and Kurama quietly reminisce about their past.
219. Return
Finished with their battle against Isshiki, Boruto and the others return to the village. Thanks to their work, the safety of the village has been maintained. Boruto is terrified by the fact that Momoshiki once again took over his consciousness during battle. Meanwhile, Amado provides some new information concerning Code, whose powers surpass Jigen. As that happens, something appears before Code, who has been keeping watch over the immature Ten-Tailed Beast in Kara’s possession!
220. Remaining Time
Those with a Karma gradually lose control of their minds and bodies as they undergo Otsutsukification. Naruto convenes a Five Kage Summit to discuss what they should do about Boruto’s condition, as well as Cord, one of the leaders of Kara.
221. Chunin Exam, Again
Naruto, proposes that the Chunin Exam be held to raise morale after Isshiki’s attack. Everyone is fired up for the exam, eager to show off the results of their training and experience they’ve gained from missions.
222. Eve of the Decisive Battle
The final round of the Chunin Exam is announced. Many of Boruto’s classmates who didn’t advance to the final round of the last exam have made it this time. Also, the rules of the exam have changed: the use of Scientific Ninja Tools of your own creation is now allowed!
223. Inojin vs. Houki
The final round of the exams has finally begun. The first match is Inojin versus Houki. Houki’s team has been participating in Anbu Black Ops missions. Because of that, their abilities are unknown. Meanwhile, Boruto and Mitsuki notice some suspicious people while on their way to the exam site, and decide to go after them instead.
224. Bakeneko Legend
The next match in the final rounds is between Iwabe and Wasabi. The two hate to lose and tend to clash with each other, but Iwabe is thrown off by Wasabi, who seems unusually low-key.
225. Best Friend Showdown
The match between Sarada and Cho-Cho begins. Kawaki has been invited by Naruto to observe, as well as Shinki and others who have come from the Hidden Sand Village. Who will emerge victorious in a battle between best friends?!
226. Samurai vs. Kagaku
One after another, the winners of the finals are being decided. Only a few matches remain, but Boruto and Mitsuki still have not appeared at the venue. Sarada worries that at this rate, the duo will be disqualified. Meanwhile, the next match is between Denki and Tsubaki.
227. Team 7, The Last Mission?!
Team 7, with Sarada as captain, are assigned a mission. Mirai, who was on a mission with Konohamaru, returns to the village critically injured. The mission was supposed to be simple, but Mirai reports that the situation has changed drastically. It’s decided that reinforcements will be sent and Team 7 volunteers to go.
228. Kawaki, the Path to Shinobi
In order for Kawaki to become a genin, it’s decided that he can take a special test that differs from the one held at the Ninja Academy. A D-rank mission is deemed to be equivalent, so Kawaki is assigned as an additional member. However, he is difficult to work with, ignores the need for teamwork, and acts on his own—giving his teammates a hard time while disrupting the mission!
229. Order Violation
Kawaki starts to believe that being a genin is not for him. The Seventh Hokage gives him a last shot and assigns him to join Shikadai and Cho-Cho on a mission to protect Mozuku, from the Land of Calm Seas, and escort him back to his homeland. Will Kawaki be able to cooperate with his comrades and fulfill the mission this time? Meanwhile, Team 7 is on another mission and they pass a group who seem to be ninja in disguise…
230. Wish
Cho-Cho is injured in an attack by a mysterious ninja and the item that Mozuku had been holding is stolen. Captain Shikadai realizes that this was no ordinary guard mission, but one that makes them the targets of other ninja. He immediately decides to turn back toward home. But Kawaki feels for Mozuku, who was entrusted with the item that would save his people, so he ignores Shikadai's orders and pursues the ninja along with Mozuku. All alone, Kawaki faces a powerful enemy who uses a strange jutsu. Will he be able to protect Mozuku and safely return him to the Land of Calm Seas?
231. The Rusty Sword
(Filler) Traveling merchants have been attacked by vicious robbers. Wasabi, Namida, and Tsubaki of Team 15 are sent to the site of the incident to investigate. Tsubaki finds a clue that seems to point to samurai from her homeland, the Land of Iron. Furthermore, the clue belongs to a certain person that makes Tsubaki tremble in fear. That person is someone that she respected long ago, a fellow apprentice with whom she trained and honed her swordsmanship with—someone with whom Tsubaki shares a certain fate!
232. Captain Denki's First Mission
With Denki as captain, Team 5 is assigned to a mission to transport automated puppets for mining purposes to an island in the Land of Water, to test and operate them, to gather data, and to analyze the results. However, lacking physical strength, Denki isn't very useful and ends up being ridiculed. Will Denki be able to restore his reputation as a ninja and successfully complete his first mission as captain?
233. The New Team Seven, Starting
The new Team 7—with Kawaki its newest member—is assigned to escort Katasuke to a ceremony in the Land of Water. Boruto is looking forward to seeing Kagura Karatachi, a shinobi from the Land of Mist whom he hasn't seen since their Academy field trip to the Land of Water. However, in the shadows of the ceremony, a group harboring a grudge stealthily begins to make its move.
234. The Unleashed Villain
Boruto is visiting the prison when an airship explodes during the ceremony. Just as he is about to rush to the scene, the facility is attacked, so he stays to help Kagura fight off the assailants. Will they be able to stop the attempted prison break of the leader of a gang of pirates?
235. Infiltrate, Dotou Island
The Land of Water is taken over by pirates, and contact with Denki's Team 5 is lost. The new Team 7 joins up with a unit led by Kagura and sets out for Dotou Island to assist Team 5 and rescue the islanders. However, the unit is made up of Buntan, Hebiichigo, and Kyoho, who in the past had called themselves the “New Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist.” Sarada and Mitsuki go ashore to scout the island while Boruto and the others stay back and watch the situation nearby.
236. Cut and Run
While on the lookout near Dotou Island, a giant mobile fortress appears before Boruto and his friends. Kagura orders Boruto, Kawaki, and Buntan to sneak into the fortress to gather information. Sarada and Mitsuki are able to join up with Denki and the other members of Team 5, and together they begin their plan to save the people of the island.
237. Mobile Fortress
As Sarada and the others hurry to evacuate the people of the island, Boruto grows anxious when he learns they are being threatened by the mobile fortress, which is equipped with a powerful weapon. Kagura, Hebiichigo and Kyoho show up to assist Boruto, Kawaki and Buntan. Together, they do what they can to destroy the weapon to protect their friends, but they are obstructed by Tenma and are forced to fight him.
238. The Ship of the Bloodthirsty Killer
There is a murder aboard the ship carrying the people rescued from Dotou Island, and Kyoho is the primary suspect based on the evidence. Despite his claims of innocence, there is no proof to back him up. Despite that, Kagura chooses to believe Kyoho. He places Boruto and Iwabe in charge of watching Kyoho while everyone else splits up into teams to search for any clues that may point to another culprit.
239. The Boy from the Shipbuilding Island
The ship carrying Boruto, his friends, and the people of Dotou Island is dead in the water. A shipbuilder Kajiki and his apprentice Ikada happen to pass by and offer to repair the ship at an island of shipbuilders where they live. Upon arriving on the island, Boruto and his friends try to do whatever they can to help while waiting for their ship to be repaired. Meanwhile, in the seas near the Land of Water, a clash between the pirates of the Funato Clan and the Land of Water is becoming unavoidable.
240. Ikada's Dream
Boruto joins Ikada as he sails to a factory where they can get a component needed for ship repair. He is impressed by Ikada’s excellent piloting abilities. Ikada reveals that he left home despite the protests of his family to look for work that involved ships. That was when he met Kajiki and found his dream of becoming a great ship carpenter. They spot a ship that has been in an accident, and while working together to save the passengers, Boruto sees something unbelievable.
241. Ikada's Secret
Now that their ship has been repaired, Boruto and the others will soon be leaving the island of shipbuilders. Ikada, now friends with Boruto, promises to achieve his dream and pay him a visit. But then Ikada’s sister Seiren appears before him and tries to drag him back home. When Ikada left home, Seiren was his only ally, so he is sad to see her so unwilling to understand his feelings. Meanwhile, Buntan, Hebiichigo, and Kyoho wait for the ship to depart. They had been promised reduced sentences for their work, but they learn that they won’t be rewarded as much as they thought!
242. Seiren
In retaliation against Boruto and his friends for destroying Tenma’s mobile fortress, the pirates land on the Isle of Shipbuilders. Funamushi, a follower of the Funato Clan, attacks Kagura, hoping to capture him alive so that he can use him as a bargaining chip. Kagura fights back using the Hiramekarei—the twin swords that the Sixth Mizukage Chojuro entrusted to him—but Funamushi is a formidable foe. Meanwhile, Seiren appears before Boruto and torments him with her persistent attacks. Can Boruto find his way out of this predicament?!
243. Whereabouts
A coded message believed to have been left by Funamushi reveals that the Hidden Mist Village is in danger. Kagura tells Boruto and the others of his plan to stop the enemy at a village on the route there. Everyone hurries to the destination, and it turns out Kagura lived in this village when he was little and has many fond memories of it. When Boruto and the others arrive, they try to get people to help them as they rush to prepare their plan to protect the village and the Hidden Mist!
244. Rift
As Boruto and the others ready their plan, they learn that one enemy unit is heading to the village ahead of the rest. Since they haven’t finished making preparations, the village will be in danger, so they hurry to evacuate everyone. Kagura worries that they won’t have enough people to fight. Just in case, he releases the curse placed on Buntan, Hebiichigo, and Kyoho, temporarily setting them free. Hesitantly, they agree to fight alongside Kagura and Boruto.
245. Funamushi's Obsession
The main squad led by Funamushi is getting close to the village. Boruto and the others stand by, intending to use traps to slow down the enemy. However, the enemy sees through their plan and they are suddenly thrust into a full-scale battle. Despite being shaken, Boruto and the others fight back. Working together, they are able to handle the enemy’s overwhelming numbers. Even still, Funamushi burns with the desire for revenge and uses a powerful jutsu to corner them.
246. A Serious Injury
During the battle against Funamushi, Kagura is fatally injured. Boruto becomes enraged and charges at Funamushi, activating his Karma. When the Funato squad retreats, Kagura gives Boruto and the others one final request.
247. For Kagura
Despite children being present, Funamushi fights fiercely with disregard for the damage he causes. Meanwhile, Araumi is informed by his eldest son Isari that his adopted son Tenma has died in battle. With his daughter already hovering between life and death, he explodes with rage. He declares that he will be taking full command in the battles to come.
248. Death Match, Once Again
Denki and Iwabe protect the village children who accompanied them but they are captured by Funamushi and his squad. Funamushi’s squad shows up once again to attack the village. Funamushi burns with the desire to avenge Seiren as he fiercely battles Boruto and the others once more.
249. Buds of Hatred
Boruto and his friends manage to triumph over Funamushi, but they aren’t able to savor the victory. Everyone is having a difficult time believing Denki and Iwabe are still alive days after being captured. Meanwhile, Boruto discovers a hidden side of Funamushi when he is targeted by people who looked up to the pirate, as revenge begets more revenge. Boruto has always continued to push forward until now, but this causes him to question the point of fighting.
250. Funato's Blood
Ikada returns home after learning that his sister has been severely injured in battle. He spends the next few days looking after her and is visited by Funamushi’s son Kobuna. Kobuna asks Ikada if he will join the fight. Ikada tells him that he is not suited for battle. Despite his feelings, his father Araumi and the other members of the Funato Clan are annoyed that he isn’t joining the fight.
251. Both of Their Resolution
Araumi is furious about the loss of family members and many of his subordinates during the battles so far. He officially declares war against the Land of Water. Upon hearing this, Mizukage decides to fight him to the bitter end. As war between the Land of Water and the pirates becomes inevitable, Boruto is confused by Ikada’s decision to fight the Land of Water. He does everything he can to prevent any more casualties, and Sarada and Mitsuki assist him in his efforts.
252. The Desire to Believe
Sarada, Mitsuki, and Boruto decide to meet with the Mizukage. Chojuro is heading into battle against the pirates, so Boruto and his friends ask the shipbuilder Kajiki for help. Thanks to Kajiki, they manage to reach Chojuro, but when they try to reason with him to stop the battle… Meanwhile, Ikada sails the raging seas with the intent to destroy the Shinonome 1, the brand-new power plant developed by the Land of Water.
253. Conflicting Feelings
Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki go meet with Ikada, who has now sided against the Land of Water. Boruto tries talking to Ikada as a friend to get him to stop fighting. But since Boruto is responsible for what happened to his sister Seiren, Ikada refuses to listen. Even still, Boruto persistently tries to reason with him. Ikada coldly proposes a certain condition.
254. Vortex of Revenge
Boruto’s desperate attempts to reason with Ikada fail and he’s unable to change his mind. He prepares himself to give his life to stop the Land of Water and the pirates from fighting. He tells Sarada and Mitsuki that they should not seek revenge if he ends up dying. However, neither of them is able to stand idly by. Will Boruto and his friends manage to stop this cycle of revenge and restore peace to the seas?!
255. Troublesome Homework
The pirate rebellion that has shaken the Land of Water is brought under control. Upon returning with his friends to the Hidden Leaf Village, Boruto wonders what happened to Ikada. Buntan and her friends are acquitted thanks to Kagura’s petition, but there is still no decision on what to do about Ikada. Boruto hopes for leniency, but Kawaki takes an opposite stance. As Boruto thinks about the people who got involved in the battle and Kawaki’s take on things, Naruto has a word with him.
256. The Finest Recipe
(Filler) Cho-Cho and Inojin end up making ramen to help a Rogue Shinobi and ramen shop owner by the name of Shingo Kumano who they met on a mission. They tell him that his ramen doesn’t taste bad, but that it’s missing something. Shingo asks them for advice to make it better. The former ninja takes advantage of his experience to develop a new menu. Will he be able to complete his ultimate recipe?!
257. Konohamaru Becomes the Hokage?!
(Filler) Naruto has been asked to play himself in the popular Evil Jammer Kagemasa shinobi movie series. Konohamaru ends up playing the role in his place. Since this is his first movie appearance and the fact that he will be playing the Seventh Hokage, someone he looks up to, Konohamaru goes all out. However, he’s troubled when production doesn’t quite go as he expected. Upon hearing something from the assistant director, he proposes something to make the movie more enjoyable.
258. The Uzumaki Family's Hot Springs Vacation
(Filler) Boruto and Kawaki join Naruto, Hinata, and Himawari on a family trip to the hot springs. The five have fun playing table tennis and enjoying the food and hot spring at the inn. Kawaki had been hesitant before the trip, not wanting to intrude, but he finds himself enjoying the time with Boruto and others. When he and Boruto learn that the inn is hosting an event which promises a premium gift, they decide to sign up and participate.
259. Unhealing Wounds
Mitsuki worries when Mikazuki the cat goes missing. Mitsuki, Boruto, and Sarada are assisting with the village patrol at the request of the police department, which is having difficulty investigating a strange series of attacks. From morning until night, Mitsuki spends his days on patrol, when one day, he sees Mikazuki being cared for by another person and being called by another name!
260. Fireworks of Love
While strolling through the village, Kakashi and Boruto come across some people arguing. Boruto sees a gloomy-faced young couple and learns they’re engaged, and that their grandfathers are feuding. For the sake of their future, Boruto wants to help them out and asks Kakashi for advice, but Kakashi is totally uninterested. However, something seems to sway Kakashi and he decides to help…
261. Kawaki, Academy Entrance!!
Kawaki enrolls at the Ninja Academy and begins classes as a freshman with Himawari and the others. But it’s actually a secret mission to protect a princess from assassins. This is kept a secret because she’s come from abroad to study. Since it is a personal request from Naruto, Kawaki decides to attend the academy hesitantly, where the students are younger than him. Kawaki’s difficult school life with an unreliable teacher named Hana Kaka and his unique young classmates begins!
262. Princess Tea Party
Kawaki has a hard time getting used to school life, but he succeeds in becoming friends with Princess Kae, the object of his guard mission. Meanwhile, Kae wants to get to know her classmates and invites them all to a tea party at her mansion. Since Kawaki has his mission and cannot let Kae out of his sight, he goes along. Despite feeling out of place at the party, Kawaki does his best to fit in, but then he senses something unusual…
263. Flower Opening!! The Talent of the Teacher
Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki hold a special lecture at the Academy for freshmen like Kawaki and Himawari. The teacher in charge, Hana, will also speak, but unlike Boruto and his team—who have actual mission experience and flashy jutsu like the Rasengan that appeal to the students—she can only use conservative jutsu, so she feels inadequate as a teacher and becomes depressed. A mock training activity prepared by the trio causes the class to become deeply divided, and Hana struggles to bring the class together again.
264. Seven Wonders Expedition Formed!!
After learning about the “Seven Mysteries” at the Ninja Academy, Himawari and several of her classmates decide to go investigate at night. Kae is among the participants, so Kawaki has no choice but to go along. But he learns that Kae does not believe in the Seven Wonders and is trying to create a fake phenomenon for the students who are looking forward to the expedition. 265. Team Rivalry: Practical Skills Training!
Kawaki and Himawari participate in a training session in the forest near the academy. The class is split into three-person teams and Kawaki ends up on a different team from Kae. Anxious about losing sight of Kae, Kawaki is unable to focus and ends up burdening his assigned team. Kae is lured away by a mysterious person and disappears. Fearing that she is in danger, Kawaki and Himawari rush to find her.
266. The Himawari Kidnapping Incident
Osuka Kamakura is kidnapped for ransom along with Himawari. When the ringleader finds out she’s the daughter of the Hokage, he starts thinking of ways to use her to his advantage as well. Meanwhile, Kawaki does what he can to locate Himawari and Osuka with the help of Kae and Neon Asakusa
267. Kawaki, Identity Revealed?!
Kawaki and Himawari’s class will be putting on a play about the Legendary Sannin for the school festival. The students rehearse wearing prop headbands, but when Eiki discovers that Kawaki brought a real headband, he tries to expose Kawaki’s true identity to drive a wedge between him and Kae. Kawaki can’t afford to let Kae find out about his mission. Will he be able to prevent this from happening?!
268. The Targeted School Festival
The Academy's school festival has finally begun. At the school festival, a large number of people, including Boruto and other graduates, gather and are very busy. Meanwhile, the other day, Kawaki, who had an encounter with someone who seemed to be an assassin aiming for Kae, was worried about it, but he worked hard at rehearsals with his classmates for this day, and was looking forward to today's performance. Looking at Kae who is doing it, I decide not to report the assassin for the time being and watch over Kae so that she can enjoy the school festival to the fullest. However, a sudden bombing incident occurs at the academy, which is crowded with people, and a threatening letter arrives from the criminal.
269. The Sneaking Shadow
The Academy students are at the hospital to visit Hana, who struggles to remember the day of the attack. At the Hokage's palace, Kawaki is relieved of his mission for not reporting the presence of the assassin in time.
270. Two Sides of the Same Coin
Hana, who has recovered from her injuries, and Kawaki, who is back guarding Kae, return to class. Life at the Academy gradually goes back to normal. Meanwhile, Hana learns that about the attempt made on Kae’s life and regrets her inability to prevent it. She returns to the scene of the incident to recount what occurred.
271. The Island of Betrayal
Kawaki and Himawari’s class goes on a field trip to an uninhabited island in order to create new memories with Kae. Because of its distance from the village, there are all sorts of rumors about the island, and bizarre incidents occur, like the disappearance of the food they brought. The field trip suddenly starts to feel unsettling, but under Hana Sensei’s direction, the students try to work together to overcome these difficulties. Meanwhile, Kawaki suspects the assassin targeting Kae might be lurking nearby, so he steps up his watch.
272. Students Unite!!
The assassin targeting Kae has finally been revealed. Because of their previous clashes, Kawaki knows they are a powerful foe. He decides to chase after the assassin by himself to prevent putting any more students in danger. But Kawaki finds it difficult to do that without knowing where the assassin is; what’s more, his classmates desire to work together to chase down the assassin and save Kae. And so, the entire class begins their pursuit!
273. Farewell Ninja School
Kae has been taken away and Kawaki must face a dangerous assassin. Himawari acts as his partner and provides support during the battle. They try to corner the enemy with coordinated attacks, but the enemy proves to be powerful. Meanwhile, their classmates, who had entrusted Kawaki and Himawari to directly confront the assassin, take action in a desire to try to help. Will Kawaki be able to save his precious friends and accomplish his mission?
274. A Flightless Hawk
Boruto accompanies Sasuke to a hawk trainer to obtain a messenger hawk. There, Boruto and Sasuke hear about a person who sells rare animals and decide to investigate. Boruto then befriends a boy named Tsuzura Shitakiri. Because of his mother, Tsuzura doesn’t go to school and has given up on the things he really wants to do. His only friend is a hawk that is unable to fly due to an injury. He takes good care of this hawk in the hope that it can soar the skies once again.
275. To the Sky Again
Tsuzura’s hawk has suddenly been sold, so he does what he can to get his precious bird back. Hearing what happened, Boruto ignores Sasuke and rushes to help.
276. Welcome to the Labyrinth
Boruto dozes off on Thunder Train and wakes up in an unfamiliar location along with the other passengers. A mysterious individual known as Ouga forces them to participate in a game of death disguised as an experiment—who will successfully beat this game and make it out alive?!
277. Disappearing Life
As test subjects drop off one by one, Boruto tries to find a way to get everyone out alive. The next experiment is for the subjects to carry candles that are directly linked to their lives. Although some people try to save only themselves, Boruto and a fellow ninja from the Leaf Village, Kiseru Gankubi, aim to clear the challenge together with everyone…but Ouga’s experiment mercilessly pushes them to their limits!
278. Musical Chairs
While everyone is exhausted from Ouga’s experiments, a test subject talks about their goals, which leads everyone to talk about what they want to do if they survive. The mood is lightened, but Ouga begins a new experiment. Due to the careless actions of certain test subjects, everyone's lives are in danger once again.
279. The Seven Walls
While Boruto and the others are forced to participate in Ouga’s experiments, Sarada and her team investigate Boruto’s disappearance and discover the existence of a suspicious individual. Meanwhile, Boruto is shocked to discover the identity of someone who may be working for Ouga. Just then, a test subject is found dead—killed for reasons that have nothing to do with the experiment.
280. Breakthrough
Ignoring the danger to his own life, Boruto tells the other test subjects to escape while he takes on the person who may be working for Ouga. But they decide to stay and help Boruto fight the suspect. As they search for Boruto’s whereabouts, Sarada and her team find themselves surrounded by skilled ninja and uncover unexpected information about the incident.

Naruto falls ill, and Sasuke goes to the Tatar Observatory to try to find a cure.
283. Sasuke Story: Star Lines
Sasuke is attacked by Meno, the guardian of the Observatory, and then poisoned. Just when he thinks it’s all over, he is rescued by Sakura, who has infiltrated the Observatory as a doctor. She gets Sasuke reassigned to assist her, and they begin their undercover investigation. From the intel that Sakura brings, they learn that Ultra Particles were what cured the Sage of the Six Paths, but in order to find out where it is located, they need to obtain a document called the Map of the Heavens. They decide to search the Observatory’s library for it.
284. Sasuke Story: Secret Basement
Seeking information related to the Ultra Particles, Sasuke searches the cellar of the room belonging to Zansul, the director of the Observatory, while a messenger of the prime minister is visiting from the capital. To buy some time, Sakura transforms into the messenger. While Zansul is distracted, Sasuke tries to sneak into the basement, but they start to get anxious when things don’t go according to plan. Meanwhile, Zansul tells Sakura something disturbing.
285. Sasuke Story: Sky Descending to Earth
Sasuke and Sakura work together to gather information concerning the Ultra Particles. Unfortunately, there is still much they don’t know, and they are unable to figure out where to get answers. Eventually, Sasuke finds a clue to the whereabouts of the Ultra Particles from something his cellmate mentions. Meanwhile, Sakura discovers a hint to unraveling the mystery of the Map of the Heavens from a game called Star Lines. Having finally gathered the information they need, Sasuke and Sakura try to obtain the Ultra Particles. However…
286. Sasuke's Story: The Ring
A swarm of dragon-beasts suddenly appears at the Observatory, throwing everything into chaos. When Sasuke and Sakura learn that the director, Zansul, has horrifying ambitions, they split up to try to stop him. Sakura gets back to the Observatory first, but the building collapses while she’s still inside. Meanwhile, Sasuke catches sight of Zansul and his accomplices. He tries to join up with Sakura but is unable to find her. Trapped, Sakura faces a precarious dilemma. Will Sasuke and Sakura—the most powerful couple in the Village Hidden in the Leaves—be able to crush Zansul’s ambitions and safely return with the Ultra Particles to save their friend?
287. Claw Marks
Code worships Isshiki Otsutsuki, who was defeated by Boruto and his friends. In order to meet a certain person, he visits the facility that formerly belonged to Boro. Like Kawaki, Code miraculously survived the experiments intended to help select a vessel for Isshiki—and he possesses greater power than even Jigen. He has vowed revenge against Boruto and Kawaki for destroying Isshiki. Meanwhile, Claw Marks left by Code are discovered just outside of the Hidden Leaf Village. While the Hokage and the others take precautions, Boruto proposes an idea to Kawaki.
288. Captives
In order to gain the strength to fight Code, Boruto invites Kawaki to train, along with Sarada and Mitsuki. Unfortunately, because Kawaki is in a rush, they end up arguing about their training methods. Meanwhile, at Boro’s facility, Eida has awakened. Eida is another one of Amado’s creations who has the power of the Senrigan, which allows her to see events in the present and the past. Code is powerless against her other ability…
289. Qualification
With the disappearance of his Karma, Kawaki has lost his powers. He becomes worried that he won’t be able to protect Naruto or the village he cares for. Seeming to know what Kawaki is thinking, Amado verbally provokes him. Sumire becomes worried that Amado is planning something. Meanwhile, Code teams up with Eida to get his revenge. Eida introduces him to another person who will be helping them.
290. Presence
Due to the risk that Code might attempt to kill Boruto and Kawaki, guards are assigned to them. Boruto is sick of being watched every day. Meanwhile, Kawaki overhears a conversation between Shikadai and Inojin and learns how to slip past his guard and the Village’s sensory system. Once he decides he must do whatever it takes to protect Naruto and the Hidden Leaf, he jumps into action. Despite their keen sensory abilities, Naruto and the Village’s sensory team are unaware of what’s happening. But Boruto feels a strange sensation that allows him to detect Kawaki’s movements.
291. Control
Boruto arrives to help Kawaki defeat Code. In order to match Code’s incredible combat abilities, Boruto activates his Karma. In response, Code activates his own Karma. As the battle intensifies, Kawaki becomes worried that Momoshiki might take control of Boruto’s consciousness. Meanwhile, in the Hidden Leaf Village, Boruto and Kawaki had disappeared without anyone noticing. Naruto decides to do his own investigation to find out where they went.
292. Hunger
Amid a fierce battle, Kawaki’s fears come true, and Momoshiki takes control of Boruto. Kawaki watches as Boruto overwhelms Code as Momoshiki. Then Naruto arrives with Shikamaru. Kawaki is concerned for Naruto’s safety as one of Code’s targets, but despite his wishes, Naruto takes on Code as the Hokage. Unfortunately, Code takes Shikamaru hostage, and in his desire to settle his grudge, Momoshiki joins him. Naruto faces an extremely dangerous situation.
293. Farewell
Boruto makes a desperate decision to prevent Momoshiki from taking over his consciousness again. Meanwhile, Kawaki drives back Code using the Karma that Amado revived. Willing to do whatever it takes to eliminate anyone who is a threat to Naruto, Kawaki fights with overwhelming power. Shikamaru is shocked by his strength, and Code learns the difference in their powers. Boruto and Kawaki have overcome various obstacles as brothers, but a troubling shadow begins to loom over their relationship. As Momoshiki once said, the fateful moment that will take everything from Boruto is approaching!
