It is the dark century and the people are suffering under the rule of the devil, Vandel, who is able to manipulate monsters. The Vandel Busters are a group of people who hunt these devils, and among them, the Zenon Squad is known to be the strongest busters on the continent. A young boy, Beet, dreams of joining the Zenon Squad. However, one day, as a result of Beet's fault, the Zenon squad was defeated by the devil, Beltose. The five dying busters sacrificed their life power into their five weapons, Saiga. After giving their weapons to Beet, they passed away. Years have passed since then and the young Vandel Buster, Beet, begins his adventure to carry out the Zenon Squad's will to put an end to the dark century.

1. Episode 1
In the beginning, Beet is shown defeating a Vandel. When a boy asks him how he became a vandel, he started to tell him. Back three years ago, Beet made a Buster's promise or got braded. He wanted to be a buster and join Zenon's warriors. When Beet got rejected again, he showed them the braid. However, Poala, a chilhood friend of Beet's, stopped him and took him away. She asked him why he was so reckless, but he told her that being a buster was his dream and marrying her was part of it too. She punced him and walked away. When Beet started his training later on to level up, the Zenon warriors tried to prove that Beet was not ready to be a buster. When Beet tries to fight the clam monsters, the weakest monster, he fails. Zenon tells Beet how to defeat the monster and Beet kills the monster. Zenon asked him whats so good about being a buster. Beet tells him that it is justice. At sunset, a vandel comes toward the city. Poala is told to tell the Zenon warriors while Beet tries to take on t
2. Episode 2
Zenon and he comrades stay in the town. Trouble alerts that Beltorze, king of tragedy, is coming. Zenon and his comrades brace themselves. Beltorze happen to win the round leaving Beet with the Sagai of all five Zenon warriors.

Poala find herself fighting a hard Vandel named Grineed.
4. Episode 4
Beet comes to the rescue to save Poala. He defeats Grineed with the Burning Lance.

Beet and Poala finally leave their hometown and embrace a new journey.
