Wisteria is an orphan girl living in a corner of the British Empire at the end of the 19th century. Her life is desolate and bleak–until she encounters Marbas, a powerful but equally lonely immortal being with a furry appearance, hounded by hunters. Together, Wisteria and Marbas roam the Empire–populated by humans and human-like beasts–in search of a place where they can live together in peace.

1. Let's be alone together
The end of the 1800s. A girl named Wisteria is peddling wares. She lives in the attic of a church and her only joy in life is the fact that the demon Marbas comes to visit her if she knocks on the far most window three times.
2. Encounter
Marbas and Wisteria have forged a pact to be together, but the world doesn't take too kindly to dealing with demons, and now a familiar knight from the Sword Cross order is tracking them down.
3. Riverside Murder
Wisteria and Marbas encounter another young girl with a demon pact, who may not be exactly what she appears at first glance.
4. Mansion under snow
After Wisteria collapses in the snow, Marbas brings her to Blackbell manor to find Naberius and his contractor preparing for war.
5. Confronting Calamity
The Commander of the Sword Cross Knights offers Diana a chance for peace, but at what cost?
6. Guiding Light
Naberius goes berserk after Diana is shot, and it's up to Wisteria and Marbas to stop the rampaging great demon.
