Throughout history, humans have been at odds with Beastmen—a species capable of changing shape due to their genetic "Beast Factor." Because of this conflict, Beastmen have been forced into hiding. Anima City serves as a safe haven for these oppressed individuals to live free from human interference. During a festival celebrating the town's 10th anniversary, Michiru Kagemori, a human who suddenly turned into a tanuki, finds that Anima City is a far cry from paradise. After witnessing an explosion in the square, she is confronted by Shirou Ogami, a seemingly indestructible wolf and sworn protector of all Beastmen. As they pursue the criminals behind the bombing, the two discover that Michiru is anything but an ordinary Beastman, and look to investigate her mysterious past and uncanny abilities. Fleeing persecution as a beastman, Michiru journeys to Anima-City, where she meets wolf Shirou amidst the celebrations for the city's 10th anniversary.
2. Rabbit Town
Michiru can't prove she was human without her stolen student ID, so she heads to Rabbit Town to retrieve it. Shirou meets with the mayor.
3. Rhino Melancholy
The mayor asks Shirou to investigate a series of bombings. Michiru talks her way into joining him, with the goal of protecting a medical center.
4. Dolphin Daydream
Using an illegal SIM card, Michiru befriends influencer Nina, who's fascinated by humans. The two of them sneak out to a party in the human world.
5. Greedy Bears
Though she prefers basketball, Michiru reluctantly joins a hard-luck baseball team whose hangdog coach is on the sports betting take.
6. Fox Waltz
The Church of the Silver Wolf arrives in Anima-City. Michiru is shocked to learn that their leader is her friend Nazuna, who was once human like her.
7. Easy Albatross
Michiru meets albatross beastman Pingua when he crash lands in her house. Shirou has an encounter with Alan Sylvasta in the mayor's office.
8. The Mole Rat Speaks
After a visit from Boris, Yaba morphs into an uncontrollable beast form. The mayor tells Michiru the true history of the silver wolf.
9. Human Scapegoat
While Shirou investigates what happened to Yaba, Michiru sneaks into the Sylvasta medical center after seeing Nazuna kidnapped once again.
10. Rabid Wolf
Shirou and Michiru set out to subdue another monstrous beastman. After Sylvasta's machines interfere, Alan tells them about Nirvasyl Syndrome.
11. A Beastly Feast
Nazuna decides to reveal she's human during her concert. While the mayor escapes detention in Japan, Shirou and Flip put their own plans into action.
12. Anima-City
The mayor proves that a serum based on Michiru's blood cures Nirvasyl Syndrome, but Alan moves forward with his plan to "solve" the beastman problem.
